  1. EF were completely in the right to refuse to fulfil this dead rubber - with many of their players worried about not being paid by their main employers should they have to isolate and/or potentially taking covid back to their pregnant wives, girlfriends and extended families. They were effectively put in a no win situation and the idiots at Hampden - who are there for the members remember - show absolutely no common sense whatsoever yet again.
  2. Nice calm post from the BH! Feeling ok?
  3. with COVID test results apparently only coming through for Clyde shortly/minutes before the scheduled kick off, potentially with the unfortunate player in the ground and players who had been in close contact also present, it was a no-win for EF deciding not to play the game - we therefore have a team/multiple players & staff who may have to isolate with possible repercussions of moving league towards non-completion on 6th May - good statement by EF manager tonight
  4. cheers BB - just like the jags it’s not over - looks like my 2 are already picked
  5. Probably not DD as we’d get a thread entitled “SEND ME A BIRTHDAY CARD”
  6. If we win, the players and families should have their moment - but any prawn sandwiches laid up for Dungcaster and the blazers should be laced with laxative. Once the political garbage is out the way, we should tie the trophy to BobbyHouston’s back and send him off on a long walk (Dundee Utd & Cove Rangers style walk you understand) with specific instructions to find the end of the world and throw the cup off it - only coming back to tell the idiots who govern our game that there’s been a terrible accident with your tin cup and you’d better get onto the Trophy Centre to order a new wan.
  7. 3 points and another clean sheet. That is all. & a free viewing of the game on the FTOF so the teuchter rats don't get a penny from us.
  8. as you well know BH, the real reason we're doing well recently is all down to our online manager Big Wull wielding his virtual hairdryer in a supportively menacing manner
  9. Tenuous link Bobby ... here's the maths ... 10 games unbeaten + Sena no played in 6 = no adding up. Get some factor 30 down yer neck!
  10. not looking such a bad bet in the cold light of the day today!
  11. Ideal set of results - nearly pished my boxers when Lolkirk equalised with a few minutes to go! Three points and another clean sheet on Tuesday please.
  12. look for a lawyer ... you’d have got less time for murder!
  13. ... supporting the jags he doesn’t look a day over 75
  14. Buzzin in a Rab C Nesbitt string vest no doubt
  15. Holt will step in unless he’s got bagged too
  16. One game at a time ... as big C says not time to get carried away yet ... 3 points and a clean sheet next match will do nicely
  17. first timer who’s bottle is surely going to crash - HAH - cheers BB
  18. Had a good chuckle yesterday when I read about Danny Lennon's pre match team talk ... he said to the Clyde players "you lot believed in Santa Claus for 8 to 10 years, so go and believe in yourselves for 90 minutes"
  19. Word on the street is that the Falkirk players have been summonsed to the stadium this morning for a chat ... take your pick from a bollocking, a clear the air meeting or the management are getting punted.
  20. You'd also expect a professional goalkeeper to make the odd save or two from penalties as well. With three main placements open (left, right and down the middle), and restrictions in feet placement on the keeper, it certainly favours the player taking the penalty. However, either do your homework on the taker or guess right and you're in with a chance of saving it.
