I was at the Macarthur FC v Wanderers game. It was a really good game - one of the best A-League games I have seen for a long time.

Like most bands when they get to their tenth album or so , it takes few listens to get the gist of it. There are some real sleepers on their new album Here and they fitted in well with their live set. I listened to my wife once..........

Any Teenage Fanclub fans on the Forum especially the Nomads? I went and saw The Fannies at The Taronga Zoo here in Sydney last night. What a fantastic night and a great show! I haven't seen them since they were last here in 2005 (and before that in 1994) and they didn't disappoint their fans. All the hits were there and their new stuff slotted in seamlessly with their old stuff. And I had to wear a Jags top to the gig and found myself to be a favourite among fans. Also saw someone wearing a Hibs top as well (pfft...)

I've just bought tickets to see him perform live with The Bad Seeds in Sydney on January 21 , 2017. I have always wanted to go see him and this will be my best chance. I'm expecting a real treat.

If you like the sound of Royal Blood then check out Aussie band The Mess Hall. One guitarist , one drummer - loud as fark. What more do you need? Occasionally a keyboardist gets dragged along for live shows. I never realised how much of a Bowie fan I was until his untimely passing. Damn he has some good stuff and that is not including the obvious stuff - how about Sound and Vision and Strangers When We Meet for great tunes!

Brazilian Marcelo spent more time rolling around on the grass than he did on his feet. Maybe they could use the white paint to draw a line around a seriously injured player whilst awaiting the stretcher. The white outline would mean you could not come back on at all
