  1. Tributes being paid at 10:30am and 10:30pm as well as a minutes applause this evening. https://ptfc.co.uk/ptfc-news/thistle-confirm-tribute-to-ten-thirty-bertie-auld/
  2. An earlier poster described Bertie’s ability to talk up the club and make headlines. He did that before this game appealing for lapsed and occasional fans to get out and support their team challenging for second in the league. The fans turned out and Bertie delivered (well the head of Somner but that’s a minor detail). I remember changing ends under the floodlights. Not always appreciated for grinding out a point when you only got 2 for a win. Strange, looking back, that Bertie was often accused of defensive strategies yet we had the likes of Doug Somner, Jim Melrose, Kenny McDowall, Colin McAdam and Maurice Johnstone banging in goals during that time with BobbyBobby, BobbyBobby Houston on the wing. Great memories, even greater stories. Thanks Bertie!
  3. I think this answers a number of posters regarding ambition, as it clearly indicates a desire/intention to progress in the cup over a higher gate receipt on a Saturday.
  4. Although Holt is in the squad you’d doubt he’d start having had 9 stitches only a week ago. Connor Murray made a good case for a start but I think McCall will stick with the starters last week and the only change will be McKenna in for Holt. We need some consistency now. PLEASE
  5. Anyone else having trouble on official stream?
  6. I wonder if your thinking of Aunty Mable, m’lady?
  7. Was thinking that but happy to see Killie dropping points as I think ICT are less of a threat but lets see in 2 weeks time
  8. Very tight pitch and occasional strange bounce
  9. Great lad with good attitude and a season of regular football at that level will hopefully make him a bit more street wise as he had a tendency to be a bit naive and easily ‘conned’. Good luck to him. I’d like to see him progress.
  10. Really enjoying the positivity that Graham brings and an expectation of goals. He’s free to give his all now too, knowing that we have great options on the bench when he tires although as others have said his stamina is impressive.
  11. I was about to buy livestream but will donate to PTFC instead now. hope Dungfermline get relegated
  12. He would be a shooie in with his “age, attitude and influence in the dressing room” for a Gary Caldwell PowerPoint slide.
  13. hmmmmm, Bill McCluskey, defending, said: "He had a promising career in professional football that was curtailed due to a serious injury." ...must have had a bad bump on the head as a baby. Agree with Anniesland Jag and hope he finds a helping hand away from the past.
  14. Presumably it's not a lot of money but rather some 'income share' linked to gate receipts but every money spider is welcome.
