That was pretty uninspiring, couldn't even be bothered posting about it last night. I disagree with the stick Elliot takes, I think he's improved tremendously last year or so. Was always a good athlete with minimal footballing ability, but I feel he's improved technically now, by no means a fantastic player but I like him, and is good cover in the fullback area. And when your left back is as poor as Jake Carrol you need all the help you can get. Creating chances is a hard thing to do I'm not doubting that, but it's so hard to watch the team when it's as toothless as it is just now. We need a Lyle Taylor type signing which will freshen us up and give us a new attacking threat as we're struggling at the minute. With the fitness and form issues surrounding Fraser and Higgy it's no surprise, they are so important to us, and if they're not playing well, or playing at all, we're a weaker team.

I've had a few nightshifts then going to game the next day. 2 most memorable I suppose were the Blyth Spartans friendly few years ago, I was nightshift Wed Thur Fri, finished 745am Saturday morning, home for a shower, 9 o clock train down to blyth, drinking all day, train delayed on way home, didnt get home until about 1am or somethin, I got to my bed about 1.45am Sunday morning after getting up Friday afternoon about 4pm so was a good shift I put in! Other one was coming home from nightshift again, watched a bit of tv, then decided to go to my bed about say 0930-10ish. my brother came in and asked if i wanted to go to game, I said no, couldn't be arsed, it was winter time and we were away to Ross County. Anyways he managed to convince me, I went for a shower, got in car with him, went up to dingwall and saw the jags win 5-2 or 5-3 cant mind the score. I remember the jags scorers as McConologue (2) Brown Ferguson, Paddy Keogh, and Mark Roberts!

Rubbish game, both sides as bad as each other really. Big Ozzy steady, Frans played well again, the subs injected a bit of life into us. Good to nick the win though. Welsh didn't look fit and went down injured after 5 mins, and appeared to limp his way through the rest of the half before being subbed at half time. Fraser a vast improvement, he's so important to us. Stevenson up front - thought we established that didn't work the first 5 games of the season? Thought the stick Fox was taking for not giving it to SOD was a bit way OTT, turned to my dad and said I bet u he throws it out to someone in a minute in a bad situation cos the crowd are on his back, then what do you know he chucks it to ozzy wi 2 guys on his back. First half was really poor no doubt, but booing team off at half time, really? get a grip you idiots whoever you are.
