We finished where we deserved to, or thereabouts. We'd have been there regardless of the Manager and I'm pleased we have a chance at least. All to play for.

Not so sure about your last point. Can see QP losing today and us winning. If we'd have won last week too, that would have meant going into the last game where a win would mean that two of the 3 possible outcomes in the QP v Dundee game, suited us. As it stands, we need to dust ourselves down and get a place in the play-offs secured pronto. We've seen all season that anyone can beat anyone, so it's all to play for if we get there.

Whoever wins this league won't really have deserved it. It's terrible and that ref from last week, could well have cost us.

I'd prefer QP to win the league and us to go up too via the play-offs - goes without saying. I'm not sure the men in charge want 4 Glasgow teams in the top league though. They have their Glasgow derby already and would probably prefer Killie and Ayr or Ross C and Inverness. Dundee going up gives them the Dundee derby.

It's a disgrace that a linesman can get a decision that wrong, especially when there is a big white line to guide him. Could cost us big time and we'd still be in with a shout of 1st if we'd have won that game. Was that goal ruled out when it was 2 each? (Guessing so, as the screenshot shows 2 - 2). Makes it even worse.

The teams we've played have always had something to play for and we've never been in a relegation battle this season. It was maybe the right time for a change (well a day early in my view) but Doolan is untried and untested, especially when the pressure is on. And, the pressure is now really on. Here's hoping he's up to it.

Another chance missed. Whoever wins this league, will have crept over the line. P1ss poor division and unlikely to be as bad for some time.

There's a couple of different ways we could win the league but they include us winning our 3 games. Dundee could draw all 3 or draw 2 and win 1. They could lose all 3, as long as QP lose 1 before they beat Dundee. I felt before tonight that Ayr could lose out and I still think they might. That game was pretty dire. I think we'll be third but could maybe sneak into second.

I'm sure we would. I've been at Killie when we had 4k + but Ayr aren't us. I think 584 is fair enough for them.

Not sure what basis you're measuring that on. Their average home support can't be more than 2,000, including away fans, so they've travelled with circa. 33% of their fans. I don't think that's too bad. QP looked to only have about 100 fans last week and I'm sure they get more than 300 fans at home games, when in Glasgow. I've said before, that we probably travel with a larger %age of our fan base than just about any other club. I doubt Ayr take more than 584 to many games.

Very decent support from Ayr too.

What was the crowd EJ? A real chance of 1st if we'd won today. Target now is as high in the mini play-off league as we can. 2nd place would be massive for a couple of reasons.
