  1. Sneddon just seems to get better and better with each game ,for me he is the bedrock of our team and recent run of success .
  2. Still a bit windy here in Glasgow but looking like receding about kickoff time, hope game is on …moved heaven and Earth to change my shifts to get to game tonight.
  3. Had a squatch at Jukubiak’s goal tally on Wiki. For a 25 year old he’s been around but not prolific by any stretch of the imagination for a Striker.Only thing I can say at this stage v Rudden is that he is an improvement on the beard front .
  4. Often wondered what happened to “Oor Wullie” .
  5. Have we lost a game playing in that strip ? ,can’t think of any offhand.
  6. Should be a good game ,and hopefully crowd,on Sat with both teams on a recent run of good form .2-0 Jags .
  7. Working last night so missed the game.Sounds like we were hard done by but them’s the breaks…we’ll play worse and win .Looking forward to getting back to Firhill next week and ragdolling the “wee Sevco “ mark IV in the cup.
  8. How did Crawford perform yesterday …good, bad ,too early to say ?
  9. Very best wishes to all Jags fans, team and office staff for a better, brighter and hopefully covid free 2022 …a special mention also to the tireless efforts of the ground and maintenance staff as well as the volunteers who keeping things going though thick and thin in these dark and uncertain times . Mon the Jags…keep the faith ! .
  10. Morton fashioned out a hard fought draw away to Killie under new manager Dougie Imrie so don’t expect an easy game on Sunday .Heavy rain forecast tomorrow but a lot better on Sat and Sunday .
  11. Persistent rain forecast through to Sunday and beyond but not as heavy as today…hopefully Sunday game on especially as my ballot selection pinged through .
  12. Did not see that question being asked….Thistle do work in mysterious ways though it seems.
  13. Here’s hoping. Managed to set up Ayr game on stream tomorrow with coupon sent….seemed easy enough.
  14. Ayr game was third preference for me (no surprise not chosen) and Morton number 1 so will see happens before Sunday .
  15. Feliz Navidad from the glorious Banana Republic of Anniesland to all Jags fans wherever you may be .
  16. I understand the 500 figure would include teams and staff so fan numbers would in reality be around 400 per game .As for the figure of 2000 I know over several season ticket holders who would not return until current wave is under control so would estimate a pool of around 1200-1300 ST holders .
  17. Slightly over two thousand if memory serves me .
  18. Indeed, both pivotal in our recent (Arbroath game aside) defensive prowess . Akinola especially keeps the head ,does what it says on the tin without any fancy antics and effectively clears his lines and usually finds a Jags jersey at the end of it.
  19. You’ll be hitting the cask strength 25 year old Strath Sheep worrier tonight then !
  20. Have to be happy with that..comfortable clean sheet and three points .Our tails were up from the get go and should have been out of sight by halftime .Just a bit worried about our squandering of golden opportunities …need to address this urgently in transfer window . Thought Zanatta was poor today and Rovers overall looked ordinary and were there for the taking .,saw some of their fans venting their spleens outside the ground ….they’ll no be “dancing in the Streets of Raith “ tonight .
  21. We’re close enough to Ruchill to make Buckie acceptable
  22. …and the Chateau Buckie chilling nicely .
  23. It’s 6 degrees and positively balmy in the West End .
  24. Was there also, I remember most of the crowd in the JLS standing to get a better view of his first inspired run down the right cutting Ayr open thinking he was the real deal …sadly, as you say it didn’t happen for us . Perhaps McGlynn and Zanatta have that chemistry you just can’t bottle .
