The Devil's Point
The original name of 'The Devil's Point' was, in the gaelic, 'The Devil's Penis'. But when Queen Victoria was crossing the Lairig Ghru on her horse she asked her ghilli, guide and fried John Brown what the name of the summit was. He was tactful and substituted the word 'Point' for Penis. And from then on the hill was named the Devils's Point.
The Devil's Point
Just realised I even got the name of the thread wrong. 'Plum' should have read 'Plume'. Sorry but I don't speak French, just bollocks.

potty trained
Mine was taken from a post someone made on the last day of the old forum. Can't remember who was involved but one poster suggested to another that their quality of posts questioned whether they may even be potty trained. Obviously the initials of my username are PT. OorWull
Mine came from my Uncle's license plate in the USA "OorWull". In addition my name happens to be William and the icing on the cake was my father wrote Oor Wullie & The Broons (among others) for DC Thomson for some 20 years. P.S. The Avatar I use is a tattoo of Oor Wullie sitting on his bucket, wearing a thistle scarf, which its tattooed over my heart!
