The Bing

Anyone else remember this? 25 years ago or so, when Arsenal were re-developing the North End at Highbury (behind the goals) to create their all seated stand. For a full season they hid the building work behind a huge mural which depicted supporters at the game. The effect was brilliant, and it was done so well that whenever the TV cameras panned by the scene to capture the on field action, at first glance you never noticed you were looking at a painted picture.

All done on the normal hoarding boards you see around building sites. At Firhill it probably wouldn't need to be any higher than 12 feet or so. We now have the capability of artistic input and costs would be relatively cheap. And yes, it would hide the disgrace that is the bing.
