ClydebankJag
You're right it does go on, and it's usually punished. Jostling and pulling in the box has no relation or similarity to that incident, which was a blatant block on an attacking player. When the ref's already missed an incident he's been involved in? He shouldn't be making it easy for the red to make up for missing the off the ball incident. Quite simply he blocked the runner cos he knew he didn't have the speed to go with him. It was either block the runner or run the risk of losing a goal. His lack of pace, and the fact that he doesn't compensate with better positioning, is alarming. lady-isobel-barnett
Defensively speaking at their best Frans and Seaborne can make a formidable centreback pairing. Problem as I see it is they'll always need to be at their best as they offer little else. Playing the way they did on Saturday has to send jitters thru the team. GinolasBald
I have no idea how Seaborne got away with that body check on the edge of the box. If the referee never saw it then surely the linesman had to? We got off very lightly with that one I thought.
partickthedog
More concerned with Seaborne's dreadful distribution and random punts up the park. Lost count of the number of times big Ross County centre half won the ball in the air and/or guided it back to his keeper. What has happened to our high tempo passing game? The Earl of Hathaway
More concerned with Seaborne's dreadful distribution and random punts up the park. Lost count of the number of times big Ross County centre half won the ball in the air and/or guided it back to his keeper. What has happened to our high tempo passing game? This. The worst aspect of Saturday (apart from losing) was Seabourne's tendency to leather it up the park at the first opportunity. Considering how poor we are at second balls it meant County were coming right back at us.
potty trained
This. The worst aspect of Saturday (apart from losing) was Seabourne's tendency to leather it up the park at the first opportunity. Considering how poor we are at second balls it meant County were coming right back at us. It's not like this is new. That's all he does. Chachi
Liam Lindsey is raw, but I'd have him any day over Seaborne. Big Dan is mince.
lady-isobel-barnett
Liam Lindsay is raw, but I'd have him any day over Seaborne. I think Liam is better equipped to nursemaid Frans thru a game.
