eljaggo Posted April 30, 2016 Report Share Posted April 30, 2016 I agree that Pogba offers something different to Doolan, Firhillista, but to claim that Doolan scores an average number of goals for a striker (if true) ignores the fact that he has played for such a short time in total this season. Bringing him on with 10 minutes left after the team has been a goal down for a large part of the match (e.g. Hearts) smacks of indecisiveness or extreme caution, and starting without any striker in cup ties is perverse. Alan Archibald has done well keeping us up for 3 seasons, but crowds are falling, partly due to the lack of goals and our style of play.
