elevenone
Quite a bitter piece, the Clydebank Post per chance? Chuckle at no 5. The Mcdonalds there is all seated I believe. As for no 7, thanks for the flashback

The Jukebox Rebel
'mon the Bankies!
The Jukebox Rebel
Ultra-selective period stats there methinks - desperados! Yer man forgot to mention that, in all their years, their best-ever winning streak against the Jags extended to just TWO games-in-a-row! He also forgot to mention that Jags have a superior record to Bankies in every single competition where the two clubs have met, namely; Anglo-Scottish Cup, League - 1st tier, League - 2nd tier, League - 3rd tier, League Cup and Scottish Cup. Also, we'll see them their lowly second tier player of the years and raise them two top table awards via Jimmy McGowan (1954) and Alan Rough (1981). It'd be nice to see them back all the same, as it was terrible what happened with the vultures of Airdrie. Apparently they're going to enter the senior pyramid system, so it's a good possibility.
Norgethistle
WE humped them 1st game of that season, we put them out the cup (replay) to get Celtic in QTR finals 2 years before, we regularly beat them (if my memory serves me right)

Underage pre-match beverages, big crowd. I can still visualise the equaliser and associated celebrations.
elevenone
Fun fact I attended a Clydebank game at Kilbowie circa xmas time ‘85 before ever attending Firhill. It was freezing and 0-0 vs Dundee. I never went back.
