Jaggernaut
Torchwood started off pretty good, then yon Barrowman turned it into a gayfest; totally ruined it.
lady-isobel-barnett
I suppose Barrowman ticks a few boxes but he's never scored that much above Div 2. Maybe he makes a lot of assists? Boyle should get fixed up no bother. I think we'd be looking long term for a solid left sided centreback that can play left back if required rather than the other way about. For all I know we may already have that person in Lindsay. Paddy would be a fine addition to the squad if we had a bit more in the kitty. Alan Murray
Never been that impressed by Barrowman. Bolye is a good player at this level but we are well covered for his position.
Jaggernaut
Boyle got his season of "glory" in the SPL. We now have better than him in Sinclair, Bannigan, and possibly even Lindsay. I don't see any place for him with us.
O.T.I.G.ANDYBOY JNR
I'd take barrowman........ Not Boyle got enough cover in his position plus I thought he was gash!

kni
freed by The Pars along with Andy Barrowman....would like to see Barrowman at Firhill, but probably outwith our reach Paddy Boyle signed a 2 year deal with the Pars and is under contract until May 2013 - http://www.dafc.co.uk/articles/patrick-boyle-dunfermline_2208034_36185 Barrowman's deal also expires in May 2013 - http://www.dafc.co.uk/articles/andrew-barrowman-dunfermline_2208034_27367 They were not on the list of 12 players that were released - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18170360 So where's the story that they have been freed? It is possible that they have been told that they are free to find new clubs but that is not the same as being freed. It's unlikely that will leave DAFC for lower wages. It's unlikely that will leave DAFC for lower wages. Yeah, hands up you are correct. They are free to leave the club and Barrowman is quoted as saying he will leave as he has been told he will not play next season by Jeffries and he states he will not sit around and pick up his wages. They are basically free's but if you want to sign them you probably are hoping that they will either take a reduction in wages or Dunfermline top up their wages until their contracts run out

If Boyle is free to leave, Jeffries must be hoping to sign a new left-back. The Pars will have to subsidise their wages, or pay a lump sum settlement, to offload them. kni
Quite surprised assuming Pars are a Div 1 club. Who's their new No3? The Conference is a similar standard to SFL1. Boyle replaced McCann as first choice in the latter part of the season. He has fallen out of favour very quickly so Jeffries must have a replacement lined up. sandy
Paddy was a decent player, much maligned in his early days at Thistle, but showed some skill & versatility before his move to the Pars. I wish him well
