Norgethistle
Confirms the player budget has been cut further. But has it really, how many have left and how many have came in ? I can't see it getting cut by much
Alan Murray
But has it really, how many have left and how many have came in ? I can't see it getting cut by much Agreed it probably has not been cut by much. Other clubs in the division appear to making bigger cuts to their budgets. Looks like it will be much more even when it comes to finances next year apart from Dundee and maybe Dunfermline. Dark Passenger
So we won't have a real idea of how the loss of the Warriors' income has impacted on us until next year?
Jordanhill Jag
So we won't have a real idea of how the loss of the Warriors' income has impacted on us until next year? You are correct - going into next Season with a small surpus helps as opposed to a large residual debt from the previous Season eating into your cashflow ,however a budget is simply your best guess at estimated income ,big problem for a Football Club is most of your expinditure committments are fixed at the start of the Season so if your estimated income doesnt happen then you have a cashflow problem .. It looks like the last two Seasons budgets have been sensible and income has matched outgoings, but that was with the Warriors money, without it means you have to increase your other revenue streams to compensate,
Members Willjag
If our new Director paid for shares to join the Board, that would cover some of the shortfall would it not JJ?
Jordanhill Jag
If our new Director paid for shares to join the Board, that would cover some of the shortfall would it not JJ? Yes absolutely - this would give us a breathing space for at least this Season- previous AGM gave the Board the right to issue new shares as they saw fit without consulting the shareholders ,this was voted through for the very purpose of attracting new investors, as we were running short of available shares.Dont know if this happened as there were still a fair few shares we could issue on the books so to speak. MWM
Although the Warriors going will have an impact, its quite encouraging we turned a profit when we done **** all in the cups last year.
