Sam Leitch Loyal
By Eck! Did you see Ayr's score yesterday? 4-0 v. full-strength Motherwell.
Steven H
So, who's all going to this? I'm looking forward to it as I cant make it to the tourny unfortunately.
Gary Peebles Tackle
So, who's all going to this? I'm looking forward to it as I cant make it to the tourny unfortunately. Are pre-season games available on season tickets?
Mr Bunny
Are pre-season games available on season tickets? All our preseason games are away, except the tourney. Season ticket covers 1 day of the tourney, have to pay to see both days.
kni
By Eck! Did you see Ayr's score yesterday? 4-0 v. full-strength Motherwell. It depends on how you define "full strength". Motherwell have lost 10 players from last season and McCall says that he does have the money to replace them - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18847796
stuart_adam
£10 Adult, £5 concession (u16 and oap) Quite steep for monday night night friendly against second division opposition, although ill probably still go.
lady-isobel-barnett
I'm giving this one a miss. Was going to make a day of it but too tight to get trains home for me.
uberteeb
Should have made it during the day with it being a bank holiday.
Guy Incognito
Should have made it during the day with it being a bank holiday. I am quite surprised they didn't, because surely that would have meant a bigger crowd.

Motherwell have lost 10 players from last season and McCall says that he does have the money to replace them - http://www.bbc.co.uk...otball/18847796 Of course the loss of £16Million plus as we all know is a lie but the fact that Sky haven't made it clear what they are willing to negotiate and no one in the SPL or SFA admin has tried to get a straight answer out of them means that SPL clubs don't know where they stand and therefore can't set their budgets properly. Doncaster and Regan should get shot for that never mind their other nonsense.
jags on tour
had a wee look on ladbrokes and was surprised to see there was odds on the game tonight, thistle at even money.

jagsvayne
4-1 Thistle. Lawless (2) and Elliot.
lennythistle
4-1 Thistle. Lawless (2) and Elliot. Lawless seems to be the form forward of pre season so far!
Mr Bunny
Beat me to it ... in fact all I had was the score not the scorers. Lawless seems to be getting the goals. That's Elliot's 2nd too. Looking forward to coming weekend. Hope the weather's not too bad.
Alan Murray
Good to see us getting a few goals, especially Elliot as think he could do with a bit of confidence.
jags on tour
hopefully the midfield will chip in with a few goals this year and if lawless, erskine and welshy can keep up the scoring then I'll be confident.we just need to hope mcguigan or elliott can get to double figures with dools. really looking forward to this year

Lawless put in some shift, though. Bring on the Airdrie! Edited July 16, 2012 by Watson Towers
Guy Incognito
Even 4-1 possibly flatters Ayr a bit. We totally dominated that game, their goal coming from their only real chance. I like the look of the boy Lawless - he looks like he could be a real box of tricks - and I thought Welsh controlled things in midfield very well. Elliot put in some shift too - he was sweating cobs by the end!
jagfox
So is Lawless playing the Cairney role in midfield?
thriller
McGuigan looked a bit lumped tonight, I'm afraid. Lawless put in some shift, though. Bring on the Airdrie! Thought the boys controlled the whole match tonight except for a short period after Rowsons howler. Big Mark put in a hard shift and just needs a goal . Lawless and Elliott looked good as well. jagfox
Any thoughts on how we lined up and where players fitted in? Players being tired or putting in a shift is not great analysis for a pre-season game Looking forward to the weekends tourney now.
