Over the years Livi day outs are rightly panned on here, but the stout defenders of the town's honour sometimes stick ideas on the forum. Any advice would be helpful. I've only done drives/supporter buses in the past. I know that Livingston North is an option, but that looks like a rubbish walk with no hostelries. Maybe the bus to the shopping centre would help if you got there quite early. But a lunch and pint in a shopping centre Wetherspoon doesn't sound much fun for a cup final. A taxi from Linlithgow might be an idea as well. Or how about Bathgate? It's only one or two train stops away on that new line to Edinburgh. There's a lot of parking in the office buildings behind Tony Macaroni's. I would hope that common sense would prevail and they would allow people to use the car park in West Lothian College. Personally, don't fancy the Livi pubs much. A march and sing song to the ground might be a fun alternative if we all arrive together and weather is fair. There's no problem anytime at the offices. The college car park has a barrier and the last time we were down on a match day there was a sign saying that the barrier would be coming down at 4pm.
