Pie Of The Month
I've noticed this coming up on a few threads now where the player/manager who should lift the trophy (touch wood) has been mentioned. Â I'm just interested to see what the overall view of the forum is. Who should lift it?
Jaggernaut
Whoever is captain on the day should lift it.
Spud1971
Would love archie to lift it. He was captain and to take over mid season must have been a really big challenge, jumping from playing with these guys to being their boss. And to actually improve our results, especially considering the intesity of the past few weeks with the number of games weve been playing is incredible!
Dark Passenger
Player, captain, coach, manager, legend - Alan Archibald
potty trained
Club Captain: Paul Paton.

broomhilljagsfan
Club captain - so has to be Paton. Apart from anything else I don't think Archie is the type to push himself in front of others. He'll stand in the background, making sure the players are in the forefron, then go up to collect his medal to the biggest cheer of the day
Bryza
Archie. Â Close the poll now. Â Why let someone who will be going to a rival next year, lift the trophy?

lady-isobel-barnett
Player, captain, coach, manager, legend - Alan Archibald  There lies the problem. Ideally Archie picks someone and that someone delegates it back to Archie.  btw I think Archie is fit to play.
Dark Passenger
Ideally Archie picks someone and that someone delegates it back to Archie  That would be the ideal scenario.
jagfox
I think Archibald will let all the other players lift it before he does. He would get the biggest cheer, especially doing that?
Seoras
I do like the idea of both Archie and Paton lifting the trophy together.
TASHBOY
How many games had Paton captained jags this season anyways

Spud1971
Ideally Archie picks someone and that someone delegates it back to Archie. Â That would be perfect! Would show the real team spirit you get with this team just now. Like when we scored first against morton at Cappielow and they all ran straight to archie to celebrate.
