Lindau
He and the rest of the board have done a great job however I would prefer it if he took a step back on some occassions like appearing in the team photo and being on the podium during the cup presentation....for me directors and chairmen should not be appearing on these occassions. He should be there when the flag is unfurled at the opening game next season and I am certain he will be!! Just a minor grumble. Other than that he has, to date, been one of the better chairmen we have had Edited May 14, 2013 by Lindau

I had no problem with it whatsoever. Edited May 14, 2013 by northernsoul
Mediocre Pundit
Beattie gave a speech at the End of Season Ball and seemed genuinely emotional about it all. Billy Allan commented upon it when I was chatting to him later aswell. He obviously cares a lot and has done a great job this far - well done and thank you David Beattie. Aberdeenjag
He was as happy as any of us at both the win against Falkirk and the trophy presentation. It seems he is a proper Jag at heart and I have no problem with him being on the pitch and getting photographed with the team. He has also managed to release a few bob for Archie next season which I hope will get us well away from any bottom of the table dogfights. More glory for Archie's army next season. Mon the Jags. iain
I have been thinking for a while of writing to David Beattie to thank him for his part in our teams improvement at all levels. The whole ethos of the club has undoubtedly changed for the better, and I think it is primarily down to him and the people he has brought into the club. Whither we have more success on the field or not I am now even more proud to be Jags fan than usual. So best wishes and thank you very much Mr Beattie you are, in my opinion, the most important person at the club just now. (There, that saves me writing, I was never very happy writing unsolicited letters to folk I don't know anyway. Especially, now that I have read it over and it sounds like sycophantic pish. However I did mean it.)
Dick Dastardly
I came in here expecting to read that he had left us for DUFC.

The Arch
Anyone that saw Beattie's performance in The Star after the Dunfermline game, will know he loves The Jags. He seems a decent man, and glad all the animosity towards him regarding the Rangers situation last July has gone. Billy Allan deserves a lot of credit as well, as it sounds as if he bankrolled our promotion,
ThickAsThieves
I've no reason to complain about him & Allan. Both seem to be doing a great job to me.
cleveland steamer
Whilst I have nothing but admiration for the job he's done so far, I reserve the right to give him dogs abuse if results start to slip... As his position demands!

Jaggernaut
He's like a breath of fresh air compared to what we've had in recent years.
