uberteeb
We should just have Osbourne in front of the back 4, he is an absolute mountain of a man and can do that job himself, then play 2 up front but still with the attacking 3 right up behind them, 5 up front when attacking, the future. kni
Lawless on for Forbes. Forbes has been one of our best players. Take off Kerr and go for it!
Yellow & Redneck
Disappointed to see Archie pull Doolan, Higgy and Forbes. These are the players who looked most likely to score.

read'n'yell
Forbes has been one of our best players. Take off Kerr and go for it! How has Kerr looked out of interest? Not been too impressed with him so far. Think I've seen him three times (Livi, Limasol and Ayr) and he seemed to get progressively worse. ThickAsThieves
Wrong team choice, for me. Then again I'm not the boss. No Fraser in the squad? Thought this would be an ideal time to give him minutes, rather than Kerr.

The Cup
Bad shit. We look out our depths at times. We need a decent result on Saturday.
peagreenboy
Why so shocked? We all know we can't score for toffee, and United have been coming onto their game in recent weeks. We were fortunate to play them first game of the season, when they weren't fully sorted out. And as I recall, Goodwillie should have had a couple in that game, he just wasn't sharp enough. ayrshire jag
3-0 now , poor result need to tighten up losing soft goals, a bit more grit needed, next 5 games look very difficult, heads up and keep playing football. Said before tonight Saturdays game at Perth more important, hopefully a full squad to chose from. AJ
Spanish Jag
Good goal, Elliott worked the chance for himself and scored a very good goal. Does not take away the fact it was very sterile performance from Thistle. They had a cutting edge, we hadn´t.

Lionel J. Botch
Is Christie a realistic alternative at the lone striker. Quick, strong, good in the air and has hit the net a few times this season.
ayrshire jag
That's 2heavy defeats in 3 games we need to tighten up at the back and midfield or our season could implode, can't really change anything until January when window opens so it has to be a big effort all round and get as many points until then. lack of thrust in final third of pitch is worrying. Barney Rubble
Let's stop kidding ourselves that we are good. If Goodwillie, who could not even buy a game for them, steps in and scores three, then we are way off the pace. Tonight was a chance, and we are nowhere good enough. Yellow & Redneck
Well, my take on the game: Really disappointed, but not surprised. The number of corners we had with absolutely no end result was shocking, and has to be rectified. More so since we lost our 4th from another crap delivery. Was optimistic when we decided to play with two out and out strikers for a change, but it seems our killer touch is simply not good enough, and another striker appears to be an absolute must. Again, I thought Archie’s choice of subs were awful. Higgy, Forbers and Doolan off! It seemed like damage limitation as opposed to any meaningful attempt to get ourselves back into the game. Anyway, onwards to Saturday, and I hope our good away run in the league continues, but we really do need to start learning lessons. Defensively we are making a lot more errors than last season which is slightly worrying as you simply don’t get away with it at this top level. And up front…well, it’s all been said before. To paraphrase my hero, Malcolm Tucker, tonight was a “feckin' omnishambles!” Edited September 25, 2013 by Yellow & Redneck

The Sunnylaw Jag
Undone by a fat, lazy, unfit striker again. Why can't we get one of those?

Quick, strong, good in the air and has hit the net a few times this season. Have to admit he always looks like he could score - certainly gets the chances. I think I would give Doolan maybe one more game (he did score against County) and then we have to start trying out alternatives. Elliot or Higginbotham are top of the list to try out.
