My hunch is that we were dominating the midfield and if we took a midfielder off we would weaken that grip? The gamble would have been to take a back 4 player off...but I reckon Killie could have picked us off? We will never know lol

With regard to the Doolan v Sammon debate....there is a real danger that Doolans confidence must be affected by being continually benched. I like Sammon but for a big guy he is pretty average in the air at best and his first touch does let him down. Not sniping just facts. We need goals and Doolan remains our best hope.

I thought we played pretty well today.....but missed two great chances, albeit a great save by keeper and one great block. Sammon not that great but l agree we had to be braver and play two up. Strangely its given me a glimmer of hope that if we play like that in our remaining games we might just avoid last place. Nb McCarthy had a storming second half. Im not giving up just yet

Sensible comnents algarve jag....but I think the fans can see that our form has been extremely poor for 12 long months. Why should we accept and expect relegation. Why cant me replicate st johnstone, motherwell for example? Even hamilton. Look at the money they have made through their youth policy. Id actually accept relegation from time to time IF we won a cup or even got to a final. History doesnt have to be mandatory...

When is Archies contract up? Im guessing he has a bit to go. The gamble is to pay him off v what we will lose by going down. But if the board think we would go down irrespective of a change of manager....they will do nowt. Also they will also have to factor in shaggys pay off

As always ill support the team and i agree we still can just about survive. Whether we stay up or go down it appears to be the case than change is coming. Lets see what Archie changes against Hibs. Clearly our away tactics are a busted flush.

Ive been very supportive of Archie but our away form has been abysmal. This tells me the management dont have the tactical nous to push the team on any further. That said its too late to change it this season in my opinion. When they so Presley or Neilston seem sensible options.
