I am interested in seeing the attendances and comparing to last season, to see if it has been a waste of time upsetting the core supporters!

5,766 last season and 7549/7978 the previous season.

If the crowd is not 9k plus it has been a total waste of time and has just served to piss folk off

Well that's not right. If Celtic bring more than 4,000, which is what they were allocated last 2 seasons then it has been worthwhile.

Have you done a poll of "core supporters" to find out if they are upset. Who is a core supporter anyway - just JH stand ST holders ? Or anybody that always sits in the JH stand. How many games to they need to go to to be considered a core supporter ?

Are you serious? So if Celtic bring an extra 100 and Thistle fans drop off by 200 you would be happy? And out of those 200 who didn't go 10 don't come back or start to pick and choose games or they did not renew season tickets your happy as long as there are more celtic fans sitting in the home stand? You don't care that our supporters are invonvenienced? Thank christ your not in charge of the clubs finances.

What is a core supporter? Someone who attends all or most games is a core supporter i would have thought that patently obvious to...well anyone. Season ticket or not if you turn up to most or all games your part of the core support so wind your neck in and stop trying to be uppity billy big baws!

With all the talk of various tickets, just to clarify: there's no need to obtain a paper ticket if you are a season ticket holder and are going to the Main Stand, is there?

This was what was previously implied on the official website, but there's no trace of it now, and if you work normal hours, getting a hold of someone in the office is not really an option.

My belief is if your in the main stand and your a season ticket holder you will need a paper ticket. Only going on this because they sent me a ticket in the post for the game to use in place of my season ticket card.

Hope I've understood this correctly but...JHS season ticket holders were to be sent a paper ticket for the Main Stand as there is no electronic entry into that stand. Got mine on Tuesday. Otherwise, it's pay on the day for that stand on a first come first served basis.

Thanks for that, Pinhead. Our family (3 season ticket holders) has received nothing through the post. I'll have to call in early tomorrow morning, then.

Well that's some shift from talking about it being a failure if less than 9K turn up to a change of 100 or so.

However you haven't answered the fundamental question of whether you have taken a poll of core supporters to see whether they are upset about the move from the JHS for this game. You are also assuming that if 200 less Thistle fans turn up it is because of this move - nothing to do with it being on the telly or at 12.30 on a Sunday.

And I think before you start complaining about who's in charge of the clubs finances you should wait to see what the attendance is tomorrow - don't you ?

And for the record, I am a JHS ST holder and I don't mind being moved for this game. So does that mean that I am not a real Jags fan ?

Not a shift at all, you stated that if more than 4,000 celtic fans turn up them it is a good thing and i replied not if our support drops off or affects future attendance it isn't.

Sorry i didn't realise the forum rules that i must take polls before i give my thoughts, i consider myself suitably chastised for this gross misconduct on my part your holiness! You will be happy to hear i have not taken a poll so you can claim the moral high ground and run around your house with your shirt over your head in celebration claiming victory. I am merely going on the opinions of those who i sit amongst and those fellow fans i know circa 20 and i know only 2 that are accepting of this but hey your ok with it so **** everyone else!

Other games have been on tv, the 7519 crowd for example was on a wednesday night on tv which is much worse than a sunday game so my 9k figure was based on there being a suitable increase to validate the move but maybe more realistic would have been a crowd over 8.5k as an extra 1,000 should not be too much of an issue for the best fans in the world no??

Yes we will wait and see what the crowd is tomorrow as per my original post where i stated "I will be interested to see what the crowd is and to compare it to previous crowds v them and to see if it was worthwhile pissing folk off" - No doubt i will see you back lording it over me should the crowd be 7520 one more than our highest home crowd since our return to the top league and claim you were right etc.

So for the sake of the forum can you give up your billy big baws attitude and stop telling people what they can and cannot post/think without seeking a poll or your approval?

Whilst increasing the revenue we can get for these games is a big issue there is also the issue, which I don't think has been touched upon, of preventing fans being in the wrong areas. If we think back to the game were Celtic came to Firhill knowing a win gave them the title many people I spoke to said it was the worst atmosphere the had experienced for quite some time. I think that if by doing it this way and we can keep the fans apart and make a bit of extra income (hospitality in both stands for example) then it is a price worth paying.

So you have based your opinion on it upsetting the core Thistle support on 20 people who sit around you.

The Wednesday game was the night they won the league so hardly fair to compare, but that's fine

Well it is more of a straw poll than you basing it on your own opinion your royal highness and for me upsetting even a handful of supporters if this proves to be a mistake in the attendance figures tomorrow is a handful too much considering we seem to be hemorrhaging fans. But as long as your ok jack we will all rejoice.

Not much you can really do about that tbh no matter how it is structured, i am sure some of the free tickets handed out will find their way into the wrong hands regardless of how hard things are policed. And the hospitality was also split last few games if i remember correctly into different stands.

I see you have moved your argument from it being a bad decision if it upset our core support which you defined as those who go to most games to it being bad if it upset just a handful. Talk about moving the goalposts.

Are you stupid? Unable to read? Just being a cunny funt? or all of those three put together. I have not changed my argument, i simply said to me if it annoys even a handful of supporters it is too much.
