Vinnyjag
This is more excellent news IMO CB has been superb this season and is a bigger asset than ATS was in his time here, particularly on the defensive side. Well done again board and management in getting another important cog in the Thistle wheel finalised
Jaggernaut
He might not be as flashy at ATS (whom I thought was great for us), but he's every bit as important to the current squad, which is outperforming the squad of the ATS era. yoda-jag
played every minute of every competitive game this season (twenty five games) started the last thirty five competitive games thirty nine appearances to date these are impressive stats, for ANY player at ANY club. when callum first appeared there were some grumbles of discontent around me, some were not impressed and stated that he was a downgrade and wouldn't last with us. it's a measure of the lad, and those who coach him and look after all the gym, sports science, dietary and other aspects of a players fitness, development and application, that callum has grown into such an established and important cog in our team and how we play. callum has improved throughout his time here there is no doubt or argument and it is a reflection of how far and how well a player can progress under the tutelage of archie and shaggy and all the backroom team at firhill, if players are like callum and have the right dedication and desire to succeed and improve themselves. he is still young and booth can only get better, and we shall continue to see that progress for at least another season, as archie continues to build a squad of huge togetherness, spirit, dedication to the club and his teammates and who obviously loves playing for thistle. the longevity of keeping the core of our best players together long term can only help in the quest to become a established premiership club who is knocking on door of top six and having cup runs regularly. the best is yet to come. G13 jag
Even ever more good news Former Rangers boss Ally McCoist is a contender for the Kilmarnock vacancy, with Billy Davies remaining the front-runner. Alan Murray
He is the hardest worker in the team puts some shift in.Clearly been working hard on the training pitch as well because he really has improved this season. His defensive side to his game has come on and always a threat coming forward. Not as good as ATS yet though imo.
The Sunnylaw Jag
I think he's due a goal soon as he's come close on a few occasions.
Rid Skwerr
He's a player I have a lot of time for - very reliable and gives us a good attacking option down the left. Delighted that he'll be with us for another year.
Firhillista
Feel that if he could just get on the score sheet once, he could go on to chip in with a few goals. It's the only part of his game that's missing.
The Earl of Hathaway
I fail to see how this can be considered good news. In terms of crap sleeve tattoos and huge egos Booth is a complete non-starter. All he does is get his head down and act as a solid, reliable left back who can get up and down the pitch. He even comes across in interviews as a balanced, intelligent person who can go beyond the usual 'the boys done great' platitudes. Great news - very chuffed for him and his record shows what an important part of the team he is.

Third Lanark
Great news but I was hoping it would be an even longer deal. As already mentioned one of the main contenders for player of the year so far Keep up the great work Callum
chunky jag
great news, pretty much a complete full back, just needs to nick us 2-3 goals a season and he too will be looking at a move to a bigger club (hoping we keep him as long as possible!)
