delthejag
Any supporters buses doing a day-oot for the Bath game?
Vinnyjag
This would be great if someone was able to organise. It's a difficult place to get to by public transport.
delthejag
Ive checked planes trains and automobiles. All require overnighter and accommodation on Saturday especially is really expensive
lady-isobel-barnett
I've just this minute decided not to go. If I had gone I'd have booked into the Bath Uni residences at £48pn B & B for the Fri and Sat. What's put me off was the cheapest practical way for me was by car. Coach/Bus didn't appear practical and rail fare was around £100 with a railcard.
jagfaelivi
Think you are right LIB. Priced it from every angle and it's huge amounts of cash. I go up and down to London from Waverley regularly and can get really good prices but as soon as you go off the central lines it costs a fortune. Add to that I get a mental picture of friendly second halves where everybody and his granny get on the pitch. My first appearance will be the evening of 5th July in deepest Fife. And memories of that dire pre season encounter at the Falkirk Stadium last year are haunting me already!!!! We must be daft!
Blackpool Jags
It's a sign of the club's strong financial health, these days, that they can afford to finance a game in Bath.
Dick Dastardly
I opened this thread thinking I'd be reading about a thing Celtic supporters don't have
lady-isobel-barnett
I opened this thread thinking I'd be reading about a thing Celtic supporters don't have Changed days. Years ago our associates from across the city always had baths. Where do you think they kept the coal?

jags on tour
It's a bit pricey, I might need to ask my bro for a tap. I'll be in hot water with the wife if she sees that money go down the plughole.
Vaila Street
was pricing it going from Brighton and the bus is just under £100 train is even more.. ridiculous prices when i can get to Amsterdam for like £35 You can get a return from Brighton on 2 July for £30. Charlie Endell
Booked up for this (05.50 from Central) - Bath is a cracking city (I've been for the racing) - staying in Bristol though as Bath prices are nasty - the Thai Festival must be very popular... Wiltshire Jag
With this and Cirencester, that's a nice wee bonus for me! Twerton is about a 15 minute walk from Bath City centre. Would recommend anyone coming down and staying to stay in Bristol as 1) it's cheaper and 2) there's a helluva lot more to do in the evening. Bath's quite limited as it's a bit more upmarket, but Brizzle's buzzing. There's trains from Bristol to Oldfield Park which is a 5 minute walk to the ground, but I think there's only one an hour. Blackpool Jags
Diehard stuff indeed, Mr Endell. Credit.
twinny
I reckon I'll be driving up for both games. Loving that we can get pre season friendlies this far south, though it was obviously much easier (for me) last year!

I stay in Bristol every year for the Cheltenham Festival - a great city and very laid back - I was there a few weeks back winding my way home from Wincanton - I hadn't been in the Cornubia for a few years - the makeover it's had won't be to the taste of every Jags fan... Third Lanark
I love Bath I actually got engaged there. It's not too far from Bristol airport and there is a fairly regular bus service from the airport to Bath. But it's one of those cities to see so if you get the chance as well to try and make a long weekend of it
Vaila Street
Many going to this? I played centre half for the BB's 30 years ago so I'm thinking of looking the boots out and bringing them.
