If he wasn't then I don't really see why this should be. But if he was... It's about consistency. Personally I don't mind players having a go at fans. Fans can be a right shower of idiots, most of the time. Even us. I'm sure Windass was getting a lot worse in return. Plus they likely pass on hints to referees in the art of inconsistency. A violation of article 57 apparently. Josh Windass makes arguably a more offensive gesture to stand with children present and SFA let him off. Go figure?
