Fawlty Towers
2 home games to start 2024 and tickets for both are now on sale: https://ptfc.co.uk/ptfc-news/tickets-on-sale-for-our-opening-games-of-2024/ Both are also being streamed for those that cannot make the games and can be watched within the UK: https://ptfc.co.uk/ptfc-news/streaming-information-for-two-upcoming-home-games/
JeanieD
As stated elsewhere - Cove and Hamilton last season should act as a timely warning.
Albert's Ghost
As folk have been saying - these 2 games are, for Doolan, the equivalent of the two games that got McCall the sack. IMHO this is a turning point...
JeanieD
Queens might be frustrated by today’s result. Arbroath will be delighted by the way their result panned out - especially their sub keeper!

IMHO this is a turning point... It’s not an exact like for like To be fair the results last year had us sitting in 5th though. That’s unlikely to happen after these games . I also recall us losing 7 games in a row which was far from ideal. That hasn’t happened and hopefully won’t happen this season

That hasn’t happened and hopefully won’t happen this season The one thing that we have done under Doolan is not follow a defeat with another so hopefully that continues in 2024. For a first time manager to be approaching 50 games in charge and sitting with a win percentage of 50% is pretty good (in my opinion). Correction - just checked and we did lose 2 games in a row earlier this season (away to Airdrie and Hearts). JAG1970
According to our fixture list our next home game after Saturday’s match against Arbroath is 7 weeks later….
jaggy
Correct. Unless the Raith game is rescheduled earlier or we beat Ross C in the Cup & get a home draw in the next round

Dick Dastardly
There will still be some who will want Dools sacked and McCall returned even though we are now closer to top than 5th
