Jaggernaut
Here's a wish list of Thistle video clips that I'd love to see: Dan McLindon's wonder goal against Dundee Utd (and Andy Roxburgh's hat trick in the same match). A bunch of Dougie Somner goals. Frank Coulston crawling on his hands and knees to head the ball over the goal line in a match against Stranraer. Some clips of Jimmy Bone and Frank Coulston running riot against so many defences. Thistle 8, Motherwell 3. Donnie McKinnon's only goal, a bullet header from the edge of the box against Hibs. A compilation of Rough's heroics in goal for us. A compilation of Jackie Campbell and Andy Anderson together in central defence. The ENTIRE league cup final. 0-0 semi final against the h*ns. Best goal-less draw I've ever seen, though of course Badger scored a perfectly good goal. Toastie's hat-trick vs. Killie A compilation of Alan Hansen performances. A compilation of Tommy Gibb and Dave McParland Edited February 6, 2011 by Jaggernaut
Southside Jag
The semi final in '79 is the one I most want to see. I was only 12 at the time, but my recollection is we battered them for long spells. I can still see Badger's header going in. Correct me if I'm wrong, but did Whittaker cross from the left bye line? An incredible decision from the linesman. Even after all these years I'm still sickened.
jaggy
would also love to see Denis McQuade's wonder goal v Clyde c.1972 goals scored & setup by Donald Park (many scored by Colin McAdam) goals scored by Kenny Watson 2 4-3 wins over Rangers at Firhill in the late 70's and also the 3-2 win over them at the start of the 71/72 season a Chic Charnley free kick at Forfar in the early 90's, I think it was scored from 40 odd yards These are just a few to add, I could go on for days!!! Great topic

Thistle beat Clyde 4-2 on 13th October 1990. We were 'away' but I think Clyde were still playing at Firhill at that time.

uberteeb
Grant Tierney's wonder strike into his own net, I know it went in at the north end of the ground, I know I was in the main stand, I assume it was in the early 90's and I think it was against Hibs with Murdoch in goal at a night game. Best own goal ever.
