johnnylambieslovechild
There have been a number of calls and emails over the last 24 hours to the club, many of which I have received, requesting a more definitive statement regarding Friday's vote on the Sevco matter. To be clear, the board met a week last Friday and voted unanimously against the prospect of Sevco being granted immediate access to SFL 1 and that is the vote which was carried to the SFL meeting yesterday. Dunfermline Jag
Why, Oh why, Oh why, Oh why was that so hard?
Steven H
Why, Oh why, Oh why, Oh why was that so hard? Doesn't matter now but would have saved me a day of worry. Thank gawd that's been cleared up. All aboard the promotion bus :
little_miss_jag
Brilliant news! Actually would have been a hell of alot easier just to say that in the first place! Anyways lets all get to Ayr on Monday night and maybe even start looking forward to this season again. !! Pre season optimism starts again! ! MWM
I'm glad the dust has settled on this chapter. Bit of a poor way of getting the word out with four very confusing prior statements and a national newspaper claiming we voted yes. They could have made everyone at ease by telling us of the outcome of last Friday's meeting. I hope there isn't another twist to come with us waiting on SPL2, but its an improvement I guess... Fellow Traveller
Yeah, he carried it TO the meeting, but then what...? Joking. Good to finally get that cleared up.
Mr Bunny
I can now pick up my season ticket and get an extra ticket for that preseason tourney thingy. As an aside. Took the bike out for a run today down to Bowling. Got caught in heavy shower that lasted all the way from Clydebank to Partick. Had only a T-shirt and shorts on. But at least with that and the new statement I feel clean (though still a bit damp).
David Stevenson
Yesssss! Now I can get that away top tomorrow! One of the five "civilians" invited to the training session tomorrow is a very good mate of mine. Hope they have paramedics on standby..... I'm working but hope to get there before the ambulance whisks him away. And then Ayr on Monday night, when we can all talk about the SPL re-absorbing Newco. Or something.... One simple, clear statement was all it took....
Fawlty Towers
Good stuff, now we can channel all the energy that has been on display recently in to supporting the club and team.

Dug1e
I am so glad to have read that. I for the first time in years have got a job where I do not need to work Saturdays, so I can get back to regularly attending matches. Season ticket will be purchased. yes. Woodstock Jag
Thank you Ian Maxwell. Hopefully the Club will learn from this PR shambles. They could have made lives so much easier for themselves. As long as there isn't a subsequent clear shafting with an SPL2 circumventing the overwhelming will of the fans in Scottish Football, I will be renewing my season ticket. I wasn't planning to before. Shuggie
Pride is a sin and I'm sinning plenty tonight - may as well throw in a few Malts while I'm enjoying this sense of well-being. Let the good times roll, we're on the good and sunny side of the street. C'mon the Jags !!!!!
partick monkey
Never doubted it for a second! Hello Hello, How do you do We hate the boys in emerald green....
Woodstock Jag
A decent rule of thumb for Thistle fans we should perhaps learn to adopt: don't presume malice if incompetence would suffice.
Dizzytheegg
Excellent news! I'll be doing my best to go that little bit further with Thistle this year, more games, more programmes, join the centenary fund etc. hopefully all the frustration and anger can convert into goodwill, and bigger crowds!
