Fawlty Towers
A bit early to be looking at this match but what sort of crowd will we get for this? We are always told that if the team is winning then fans will come back but the cowds at Firhill for the 3 home games have actually been on a downward trajectory - 3,500 then 3,000 then 2,600. I know the away supports have gone down but that surely cannot be totally responsible? Hopefully there will be another of the excellent posters produced and the club e-mailing people to promote the game in the build up so that we can get to the 3,000 level again as the more money that can be generated on matchdays between now and Christmas will allow Jackie to strengthen the team in January or keep the key players if other clubs come in for them. Trotter
Glasgow September weekend next weekend & that, along with it being a Cowdenbeath away support, will see crowd below 3000 again in all probability.
Lin1876
Remember the Hamilton match would have been affected by us playing them days earlier and losing, so some people maybe didn't bother (their loss). Cowdenbeath will likely bring a tiny away support, but I reckon we should still hit the 2800 mark.
northernsoul
Seriously, lets try and get as many fans along as we can. Bring a pal/lapsed fan whatever. This team deserves a healthy crowd next Saturday, they're doing their part, lets do ours. 3000+ Jags please.
ian_mac
I think we'll get 3,000. The extra numbers will probably be made up of visiting scouts.
MerryHell
Last time Cowden were in SFL1 (10-11), attendances for the games at Firhill were 1841 and 1754. It wasn't that long ago and although our performances or league positions aren't really comparable, if we can add 1000 to any of those attendances it'll be healthy enough. It is easy too look at the crowds and feel like the product on the park is awesome just now and the crowds do not reflect that. But Falkirk brought a decent away support bringing the crowd up to 3,500. But Dumbarton and Hamilton have brought a few hundred fans each if that. I think the crowds we are getting are decent enough just now and nothing to worry about just yet. Have a little patience, we can't do anything about crap away supports but our home support will gradually get bigger, just takes time, I imagine folk watching us on tv last week might have persuaded a few people back. Either way Cowdenbeath wont bring alot of fans so I would say the crowd will be over 2500 but no more than 3000 and just for fun I will say it will be 2738. Jaggyman
i would guess 2500 jags fans an maybe a couple of hundred cowdenbeath fans so 2700 it is for me

Members Willjag
The extra numbers will probably be made up of visiting scouts. Sheffield United Scout last game at Firhill. So much for him to be impressed by. I'd have guessed they were maybe having a look at Dools. Pity he had to go off so early eh?
stillresigned
Much as I wish it were larger, I can't see the crowd exceeding 2,500 against Codenbeath.
Steven H
I'm away for the weekend and gutted to be missing my first league game of the season . I'd agree, about 2500, but would still keep us well ahead of last seasons average attendance for the 4 games so far.

As pointed out earlier it's the September weekend, which won't help. Anything over above I'd say was encouraging.
Fistle1876
Should be promoting we're the only club in Britian with 100% record on the posters!
G SUS
Should be promoting we're the only club in Britian with 100% record on the posters! That strikes me as a bit of arrogance, and ready to be knocked off our perch.

Fawlty Towers
I am not an expert but given we have won 5 league matches in a row how about the title "High Five" above a picture of Thistle players celebrating (preferably doing a high five)? Alan Hansen
I just don't think it's the right image for the club. It will take a long time to get the lapsed supporters back but we are going the right way about it unbeaten and attractive to watch, keep it going guys. Who's going to disagree with that? Leave it up to the media to mention the 100% record, even the shoddiest of journos can read league tables. A hard fact is we're only 3pts ahead of Dunfermline who have played one more away game than us. That's not me being pessimistic just pointing out a fact. Yes, the Pars are still breathing down our neck. Let's hope that Livi can do us a favour at EE Park on Saturday.

Three of their four wins have come against Cowdenbeath, Airdrie and Dumbarton - the three promoted teams. Three of our five wins have come against Dunfermline, Livingston and Falkirk - three of the pre-season promotion favourites (ahead of us)!
