JeanieD Posted January 5, 2013 Report Share Posted January 5, 2013 Late goals tend to balance themselves out over a season - as perhaps do sendings off - however this season whilst late goals are about even, the sendings off are absolutely unforgivable and will cost us in the long run - they have probably cost about 5 points already and once suspensions kick in later in the season probably even more. Welsh should have been the first guy hooked - didn't have a great game and was obviously tiring. Bringing on Lawless at the end was a strange one as well. That said, Welsh needs to have a long hard look at himself. That was a ridiculous thing to do when you've already been booked. The discipline issue needs sorted NOW. It cost us today and it cost us against Morton. That's at least 3 point we've lost from the last 3 games because of red cards. 7 red cards at this stage of the season is an appalling record.
