I think people are kidding themselves about our support if they think that both stands will have most people singing.

and the Queens fan is kidding himself if he thinks Queens support will make much more noise than the usual racket from the awful rattles they always seem to bring along.

I think you'll find only a hand full of fans have the rattles,

The rest of us will be in fine voice.

Ramsdens Cup Final Tickets Still Available for Sale

Tickets for the Ramsdens Cup Final have continued to sell steadily through the last week via telephone, internet and personal callers and we have sold in excess of 2,600 tickets. We have now sold two of the four sections we were initially allocated in the South Stand (Y&Z) and have opened up Block X for sale.

Tickets will be available from the club admin office (not the matchday ticket sales points) before and after tomorrow`s match against Albion Rovers and of course continue to be available via telephone and internet ordering. If you still haven`t got your ticket for the game why not pick it up tomorrow and make sure you don`t miss out as Allan, Sandy and the team try to clinch a double of league and cup glory.

Where's the missing 1400?

It was clear from day one that Livingston was the wrong place to hold the final - now we have the very likely prospect of Thistle fans needlessly missing out. The final should have been played at Rugby Park - even with empty seats there would have been a great atmosphere.

totally slow off the mark and missed the public sale so me and the kids don't have tickets  never thought they'd sell nearly 5k tickets tbh

- now hoping QOS fail to sell their allocation or its bbc fekin alba for us!

I believe we have another allocation coming to us, regardless of how well QOTS sell their tickets.

I have little sympathy for anyone who failed to get a ticket, they've had months to buy 9 ticket packages, befriend a ST holder, arrange a day off for the public sale. Clearly those who have missed out don't mind missing the final.

Think you're being a little harsh. Not everyone can afford a nine-ticket package and getting time off work isn't always straightforward.

It wasn't aimed specifically at you, more every person who has moaned about it.

Ramsdens Cup tickets were 2 per person, and 2 usually were bought, so why not split the nine ticket package cost in 2 and take 4 games each with a toss of the coin deciding the 9th game.

Did everyone that turned up at Firhill on Tuesday afternoon get a ticket or did they sell out before the queue was done?

Option 2.

On what grounds?

10,000 was more than ample for this final based on the fact our home support is, at average, 3,000(bumped up by 2 massive gates). We've sold 4,600 tickets 1.5x our usual home support(probably more).

Regular fans had plenty of chances to buy before gloryhunters got a sniff in the public sale.

ETA: I got mine in the public sale. I took the chance and knew the risks. If I didn't get a ticket it was my own fault.

I've got a ticket but think this is a missed opportunity - we need every fan we can get.
