BowenBoys
After today's match and the party at the Star & Garter there is now no doubt; Oh Maryhill is wonderful...
Graemei
Can't get the Maryhill is wonderful song out of my head after a game. Brilliant. Has also been some great random chants this season. Enjoying the 'Jimmy Saville's yer da' variants.

Jagster
I somehow can't quite take to 'Maryhill is Wonderful', should be 'Firhill' instead, but 'Love Of My Life' is a cracker ... However, in almost 30 years of watching the Jags, I've never before heard the 'Sh*te for sh*te' chant when the opposition made a sub. That gave me a giggle. peagreenboy
I've never before heard the 'Sh*te for sh*te' chant when the opposition made a sub. That gave me a giggle. That was hilarious against Morton.

Firhill is our stadium but Maryhill is our home. It is a brilliant song celebrating the community. You should have heard it in the Star & Garter last night, very poignantly sung by proud locals. Jaggernaut
I can't remember the tune to "You must be shiting yourselves" yesterday when all the polis and stewards lined up behind the goal. Can anybody remind me? Oh, just remembered! Edited April 21, 2013 by Jaggernaut

lambie
I can't remember what home game it was, not that long ago mind, but 'You're just a s***e Kenny Arthur' was sang and I found that very funny.
gerrybritton9
When we do appear in the FIFA 14 game, the company usually puts in specfic chants for each team (or you can download them). Let's hope we get some good songs. My favourite? The King of Spain song - but I'm biased !
Graemei
Been meaning to ask this for a while, why did we sing Gerry Britton is the King of Spain?
Tob Jag
Been meaning to ask this for a while, why did we sing Gerry Britton is the King of Spain? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fheH4_Q3Jxo Britton is nicknamed 'The King of Spain' by the Firhill faithful which is believed to come from fans copying the adulation of Celtic supporters calling Henrik Larsson 'The King of Kings'. angry gaz
In the s&g on Saturday night I especially liked "Sit down for the champions" when everybody sat on the floor and the "Heartache following the Partick" song. No doubt a vintage seasons for songs old and new.

gerrybritton9
i do like a funny random chant a team in england used to chant "would you like a piece of cake?" The police were worried cos they thought it was an agressive code for fighting. The fans started turning up at games with pieces of cake - mental ! and totally random

BowenBoys
I have enjoyed all the signing this season with the exception of one song. The one about the crap comedian. As far as I know, he had no links with Partick Thistle or football in general. Very silly.

Ended with big loaves small loaves some as big as your head. Suddenly, there were loaves flying all over the top tier of the stand.
Guy Incognito
The Stevie Lawless song is good. The Jimmy Saville stuff is a red neck though, not my sense of humour at all.
