thebiglemon
Andy Dunlop? No rugby club in Dunlop. Sorry. They used to have a great wee cricket firld but you can see on the train that it's an overgrown mess now and the old scoreboard is decaying fast. briogadh
name three previous Partick Thistle players who have scored for Scotland at full international level and also played for Scotland in the World Cup finals I was going to say Jimmy Davidson but then noticed 'previous'. Don't think he played for anyone else. Arthur Duncan ?
paralytic thistle
JD is one, only two to go. Sorry if the question was misleading, what I meant to say was they have all played for Partick Thistle at some time in their career, I apologize profusely. kni
What about Johnny MacKenzie? I think that you are right. He was also in the 1954 squad and scored against Norway. Peter Cormack was in the 1974 squad but I can't recall him scoring for Scotland.

kni
Didn't play. Thanks, it was a long time ago and I was thinking that Johnstone could have come on as a sub. Mind you, I was surprised that he even made the squad!
jaggy
Thanks, it was a long time ago and I was thinking that Johnstone could have come on as a sub. Mind you, I was surprised that he even made the squad! He should have played, he had scored goals for fun that season including 1 or 2 in the home internationals just before the world cup, but McLeod decided Lou Macari was a better option when we were chasing goals!
