thebiglemon
Bad: John Workman playing for Ballieston, fat and getting subbed at half time in a 5-0 pumping in Barrhead. Good and bad: Jean Yves Anis playing for Clydebank for a while. Hilariously poor defending but exciting going forward. Would be good to hear from anyone who saw Bobby Law playing for Kilsyth. Lenziejag
Saw Chic playing for Kirkie Rob Roy a few years ago. He could still ping a decent pass, although the opposition did try to take him out.
jagfox
Bobby also came to us from Stonehouse Violet(?) and I'm pretty sure Alan Dinnie was signed from the juniors, Petershill?

Neiljag
Saw Andy Gibson play for Glasgow Perthshire against Glenafton yesterday, he had a cracking game. Scored one and set another up, although he did miss his penalty in the shootout.
Noel Edmonds
I saw Adam Strachan playing for Clydebank last season and he was very good, skinning players left right and centre, although his final ball was as disappointing as always. He's a horrible wee ned who I've never liked but he's probably found his level in the juniors. I believe he's playing for Irvine Meadow now. Saw Strachan come on as a sub for Meadow against Shettleston a few months back. Horrible game on a very tight pitch. He never got into the game. Willie Kinniburgh also played in that match for Meadow. Solid enough. Kinniburgh was also recently part of the Strathclyde Police side that won, I think, the British Police Cup. ian_mac
Saw Paul McGrillan play for Bathgate a few times. Looked really useful, scored an absolute screamer from 30 yards not too dissimilar to his goal for us against Stenny on the last day of the 2000/01 season. God rest him. Partick Panther
How about Davy Wilson from Baillieston to Rangers in 1956, then Brian Heron from Baillieston to Rangers in 1967, then Alan Dinnie from Baillieston to Thistle along with Tommy Elliot in 1987? They were all very good players in their day! Canny get rid of the underline for some reason
