Developments At Other Clubs....

Motherwell have added McManus, McFadden, Sutton, Lawson and Vigurs. Decent signings and they will be looking to add a keeper and a winger and maybe another forward. They have another Estonian lad on trial who could be loaned out from his Norwegian parent club.

Motherwell have signed a keeper too - Gunnar Nielsen, Faroese international who was at Man City for a few years.

They haven't really added McFadden - he was with them on loan at the end of last season

so, that's like we haven't really added Jordan McMillan then? you don't consider him as a new signing?

or when we signed conrad for instance, after his loan spells, he was never a new signing (except when we initially got him on loan)?

Big difference. McFadden signed for Well in February and started most of their games. McMillan joined us at the end of March and made only 3 appearances.

I´m not sure what to make of that result. San Roque finished 8th in the Third Division Group 10 last season and although top of the table Algeciras were a decent side, San Roque have to be considered a poor side.

Just like most of pre-season results, is only a test in a hot afternoon in South Spain but, having been already thrashed in Germany, United don´t seem to be perfectly prepared for a the start of the season.

Still two weeks to go for the big day, though.

<chuckle chuckle>

Will that result in a ban? Would be funny if he was out of the game at Firhill.

Fantastic. McNamara's red card problem has followed him.

How many Thistle players were sent off under McNamara's reign of terror?

Off the top of my head- Forbes (Morton), Murray (Morton), Paton (Hamilton), Welsh (Livi).

Murray was sent off at Forfar in the League Cup. Muirhead was sent off for his head butt in the Ramsden's Cup Final. He was sent off in another game too.

Muirhead's two were under Archie. Raith Rovers away was the other one. Murray got his hat-trick of reds in Archie's first game the 2-2 draw at crappielow.
