The Sunnylaw Jag
I see that this was back on sale on Monday after 20 years. Did anyone else buy a copy? What did you think? It's kinda hard for me to say, as I used to contribute to it in the early 90's and would hope to do so again. Is there still a place for a fanzine or has it's time passed? I certainly think there's a whole new generation of Thistle fans who have things to write about that you can't do to the same extent on a forum. potty trained
Got a copy waiting for me. Can't wait to read it, SITB was by far the best Thistle fanzine. I think there's still a place, I bought a Motherwell one the other week, but it was far too zoned into fashion and music, and not so much the club itself. GrantB
Almost made my night (only 3 points would have done that ) finding it on sale after the game. A great read as usual and a mention of The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion. SITB is the king of fanzines.

northernsoul
Had the pleasure of chatting to and buying a copy off of Fritz in the Star before the game. Enjoyable read and the the picture of the mural he painted in the Woody 20 years ago looked fantastic.

jaunty jag
The thread on this back a few years ago has Fritz really being a hxn who had a brief flirtatation with us when we made the Premier League and who then disappeared again afterwards. Was this confirmed ?
uberteeb
I've never read it but remember it being sold back in the day, the name is brilliant in itself.

Pie Of The Month
I had a quick scan of it yesterday, I missed the fanzine thing the first time around so it all seemed a bit lost on me. The Killie fanzine on sale the other week was awful.
David Stevenson
The Killie fanzine on sale the other week was awful. Fanzines were always a bit hit-and-miss. Anyone remember "The Johnny Flood Experience"?
Lord Rosebury
Fanzines were always a bit hit-and-miss. Anyone remember "The Johnny Flood Experience"? True David, but 'The Johnny Flood Experience' was definitely a hit. . I remember it well and have a fair few of them stashed away somewhere. Quality. The Earl of Hathaway
The Cowdenbeath fanzine 'when the sun shines' was a bit of a riot because of their absolute hatred of the othe Fife teams - Dunfermline were 'Toony scum' and Raith, and East Fife got it square in the bollex too. Was this confirmed ? I've met him a few times now and he definitely isn't an ex H*n. Poor form to even repeat rumours like that to be honest. He was in the star before the game on Monday selling the fanzine and was top drawer. It's a good read and I'd recommend it. He's looking for some places to sell it as well. Pubs, shops etc.
Big Dave
It was a good read. Looking forward to seeing the next few. Well done to all involved.
Paddy Thistle
I've met him a few times now and he definitely isn't an ex H*n. Poor form to even repeat rumours like that to be honest.. Fritz was a H*n albeit not a practicing one , as I was the person who converted him to the Thistle way of life back in the late 80's when we both drank in the Iron Horse and he hasnt looked back since
