yoda-jag
if results go our way on saturday (c*lt*c beat snake united, jags beat dundee (by the same margin of goals as c*lt*c win by, or more) and caley don't beat motherwell (and hamilton don't win by 5 or more goals vs st j)), Thistle will be TOP OF THE LEAGUE sure, it's a few ifs, but all results are possible, based on form and, 'bigger' (or more established) teams vs 'smaller' (or less established in top league). it would be even more sweeter to achieve top spot, numero uno, the summit, of the league, having played only two games, and most others in league, three. imagine seeing jags top of the premiership, reported on sky, bbc, all the newspapers, online, social media ..... how good will that feel? so, if the players are reading this, please please please, give that extra 10% tomorrow to the magnificent 110% you gave on wednesday, and lets do our bit to ensure we put ourselves in position to be potentially top of the league come 4.50pm saturday. and as a support, lets get there in numbers, massive numbers, and give the team a vocal backing to live long in the memory. together, the players, management and support can do this, and achieve victory against the dundee shitesters. do we dare to dream? you bet we do. BELIEVE !!!!!

Dick Dastardly
I seem to remember that we had atleast 2 chances to go top of the league last season, without any if's, and blew them both.
jags on tour
I seem to remember that we had atleast 2 chances to go top of the league last season, without any if's, and blew them both. did we have 3 chances? dundee utd, Ross county, hearts? I think we should calm the top of the league chat! I suppose the 2 Friday night games were the real chances. Mr Bunny
Yeah top of the league - even if we managed it - is pretty meaningless this time of year. If the team can keep themselves top six for a good spell that's more achievable and meaningful target for us.
The Jukebox Rebel
it would be even sweeter to achieve top spot, numero uno, the summit, of the league, having played only two games, and most others in league, three. A cheeky wee prospect ~ 4/1 odds (20% probabilty) As far as I'm concerned, to be at the very summit of Scottish football, even just for a week or two, would be highly symbolic and hugely enjoyable. Dick Dastardly
I'll just take a win. Whatever other teams do, we can't control, but another win would give us the perfect start and whereever we are in the league is largely unimportant

Caaaam on yee Jaa-aags unlikely given the current score at Parkhead. I'll be happy with a win today, or even a draw with a good performance

Barney Rubble
Can we please avoid this kind of nonsense until we actually are in a position to do something meaningful?

yoda-jag
Can we please avoid this kind of nonsense until we actually are in a position to do something meaningful? posting new thread like this, certainly for a while, won't be doing again. (playing against motm charlestown didn't help out cause today though) but ..... Dreaming is permissible within the bounds of Jaggydom. it is good to dream onwards to next saturday and lets hope for 3 well earned points against hamilton. Blackpool Jags
You're spot on YJ. Christ I've been dreaming, Jaggy-wise, for around 50 years now. It's been the anaesthetic that's helped me avoid, shall we day, a more fragile state of mind. Monni Jags, we can dae any mob any time. FACT!
