  1. I’m as baffled and confused by the 3BC’s announcement as anyone, and I see TJF as currently the only fan group with any legitimate claim to being engaged with all sections of the Firhill Faithful (it’s not an easy task to raise a volunteer army). But, I also think a calm head, identifying a real enemy (if there is one), and their numbers, is critical to survival before going over the top and running headlong into the barrage with a blindfold on. I’d put these points forward for consideration 1 If you own something and you want to give it away, it’s up to you who you give it to (and you don’t have to explain your reason to anyone). 2 It is normal for the transfers of assets (shares etc) to be negotiated in private and not made public until ALL is agreed (TJF had no option but to be public in order to garner numbers to support their bid). 3 It’s unwise to act in haste until we are aware of ALL of the facts and decisions made (assuming all will become clearer, ahead of ICT on the 19th as promised). Let’s be in the fact zone first. All that said, I’m extremely disappointed that a “communications professional with 30 years experience”* has failed to engage with fans in the way she promised she would do when co-opted to the board, the first time round. It’s ironic that a media professional is centre ring of a media circus disaster. I’m already a TJF donor and I hope the Foundation will continue to grow and become an important voice, regardless of share ownership, for a very large section of fans that already appreciate the engagement that is taking place. It’s been a long journey already so let’s be patient for one more week. *www.ptfc.co.uk
  2. Would it be too cynical to suggest that the other party is already privy to this information?
  3. You have to go to the shop and buy it, after you’ve got your subscription
  4. Anyone else having trouble with the stream on iPad or other Apple products?
  5. Thought Weston looked a bit lightweight and likely to struggle in the Championship a la Connor Murray but might get a chance to run beyond if we play a system that suits him.
  6. Bit of a training game and opportunity to see the youngsters in action. McKinnon looks comfortable and competent and Dowds will give Graham a lot of competition. they had 7 in their back five but we lacked a spark of creativity despite Lawless, Turner and Fitzpatrick (2nd half) all putting in a shift.
  7. Match time with a lot of subs and a home game for the newbies maybies
  8. So sad an credible talent lost to us all and especially his family who have our thoughts and condolences at this horrendous time.
  9. Brian Graham has extended his contract to 2024 - announced at Grieves and now confirmed on OS.
  10. Respect to the man and heartfelt commiserations to his family and friends.
  11. Why do we need the word, ‘atheist’? That’s like having a specific name for people that refuse to believe that Patrick Thistle won the 1st division title in 1978 when Arthur Montford was the manager. Still, it’s nice to see big Roughie being recognised for his achievements. We’ll done big fella, we’re proud of you!
  12. No mention of paying for turf, this is just a way of avoiding having to hire a very large skip
  13. Dundee will still be one league too high for my liking.
  14. Disappointed and saddened this morning, not by the result, which was expected due to preparation for upcoming fixture but by, 1) Fozzies behaviour 2) the behaviour of a fan(s)that instigated such a response.
  15. Catch 22 no groundshare means no additional funds to pay for it. Or No additional wear and tear to be paid for next year. Pleased with the statement and the decision not to share.
  16. Saw Tiff go straight into the treatment room at half time with his tap already aff. Wasn’t surprised he didn’t return for second half. Trust the team to get it right in terms of rest v playing time. We need him sharp if we stand any chance at all.
  17. There was feeling among the fans that while Bertie (or whoever) ran the team, Molly ran the club.
  18. I don’t think so Michael Tony Higgins for me as he looks too tall to be Ian MacDonald but Bobby never had a tash that I recall.
  19. Horrendous to think that Morton are the form team and that we helped to put them there. It does tell us a lot about the quality (or lack of it) in this league this year. Surely we can use the second half turn around against the only consistently decent team in the league to be our East Fife moment.
  20. Just scraped a pass mark on second half performance
