  1. Scully made some excellent saves on Saturday but he *does* have to make some progress with his kicking if he's to establish himself at this level. He had a couple of decent kick-outs but he generally didn't look confident with it. It's something they need to get Hinchcliffe and maybe even Fox working with him on, because his reflexes are generally pretty good.
  2. I'd imagine quite a lot of clubs have made extra-contractual payments in the past. Whether they have accurate records of it...
  3. I would like to welcome the original poster to the forum. He's made an excellent start, successfully posting a topic containing a healthy dose of anti-establishment incredulity, and although he's rough at the edges he's clearly got talent. Give us a month with our state-of the art moaning facilities and we'll have him as a first-team regular cynic. You can't pluck them from nowhere these days. Credit to the scouts.
  4. He's a smart guy and just goes about his business like a proper professional. First name on the team-sheet frankly.
  5. It's a total disgrace. McNamara should be creating a 24 carat gold effigy of Doolan and pray to it three times a day. That's what it takes to be a proper manager. Send him off to the seaside leagues NOW.
  6. The positivity in this thread is disgusting.
  7. McNamara taking off Doolan when he had the chance for a hat-trick. Absolute disgrace. I'm not going back to Firhill until Beattie et al have got rid of this amateur.
  8. Same price for same accommodation. If it's a different stand you can charge a different price.
  9. Sticks in my craw to say it but Stephen Pressley understands what's wrong with Scottish football better than the national team manager.
  10. Nope. That's it. There's none left. None at all.
  11. Uh no. My foot is six inches wide and the seat in front is right beside the stairs. Ergo when I said that the steward insisted I move my foot so it no longer protruded by a spectacular six inches I meant exactly that.
  12. My understanding is that it relates to different kinds of administrator. There's administrators and administrative receivers who have different duties to certain creditors depending on who appoints them. Hence the so-called "race" to appoint before the court did it for them.
  13. It would have been a spectacular achievement if anyone managed to trip over it. It was locked tight against the seat in the row in front.
  14. An officious steward at the Morton game insisted that I move my left foot so that it no longer protruded a whole SIX INCHES out onto the stairs.
  15. Gary Harkins paid our tax bill.
  16. We were appalling first half hour and couldn't pass for toffee. The Ayr goal was a result of sloppy/no communication between Fox and Cole. Second half much improved. Ayr tired a bit, and we looked a lot more dangerous when we switched Cairney and Erskine on the wings. Sinclair came into his own in the second half with a lot more space to run the overlap. Doolan's first seemed to come out of nowhere but well taken. Erskine's cross for the second was pitch perfect and pleasant to see. Thought it was a soft penalty but not complaining. Wish Doolan had been allowed to take it but fair play to Cairney as it was well taken. Ayr's second was a cracker of a goal and made things a wee bit edgy but Doolan assisted well for Cairney's second. All in all good to see us scoring goals again and hopefully that will raise the team's confidence again.
  17. Just to even out all this positivity, I think you're all ***** and that we're 3 minutes from Armageddon. Woooooo!
  18. Good to see this back on the Trust agenda again. It was an enjoyable night last time round and if the Trust could raise money that helps the player budget like it did last time it might give us something to cheer about between now and the end of the season.
