  1. I must be alone in not being able to see round corners on this forum. For the 2nd goal vs Dundee, Doolan is clearly ahead of the last Dundee defender but he might well be level with the ball when Erskine hits it, impossible to tell from a 45 degree camera angle. For the 2nd disallowed goal vs Killie, it's again very tight and can't be judged from the one angle we have. edit: apologies, Exiled AusJag said this before me.
  2. I think the average since the split came in is 42 after 33 games to ensure top 6 but obviously in any given year this can change, don't know whether Celtic cantering it this year and lack of a team totally marooned at the bottom means it's lower. 42 would have been bang on last year, 41 left us just short.
  3. Higginbotham scored away to killie later that season
  4. I think Wilson needs to move on for the sake of his own career, at what point other than dead rubbers on the last day of the season does he start? I'd offer Elliott a deal now as his versatility is always useful, Amoo / Welsh / Fraser wait and see towards the end of the season, and provided Dumbuya gets back to fitness then Gordon can move on, as can McDaid. Never seen Syme yet so can't comment.
  5. Hamilton vs hearts same day has been shifted to the Monday. Don't know if we're likely to follow suit.
  6. Fraser was on the bench at Ibrox and played for the development squad vs Celtic, hasn't been seen since so I think he must have picked up another injury.
  7. Am I being mental in assuming it'll be Scott McKenzie provided a) Archie goes and doesn't take McKenzie with him?
  8. If we were going 3-5-2 (or 3-4-1-2), for me it would be Keeper Elliot Gordon/ Devine Barton Lindsay Booth Osman Edwards Erskine Doolan Azeez One issue is we've no-one to bring on up front apart from maybe Amoo but I don't think he'd work there.
  9. Aye, you'd never catch teams like bayern Munich or Borussia Dortmund having grey seats.
  10. Think they're just waiting international clearance which might take a few days after his adventures in India.
  11. Lucas is at Boavista, just before anyone suggests we sign him.
  12. Wasn't there but the first thing that stood out on watching the highlights is DU took kickoff which means we won the choice of ends which means we chose to face directly into a low setting sun for the first half. Even only playing at amateur level in Scotland taught me that if there's a weather advantage to be had, take it in the first half, it's Scotland and the weather can change by half time! Other than that, garbage. Hopefully just the cliched bad day at the office.
  13. Wayne and John Rooney would be a current one. or closer to home (in a sense) Wesley and Rodney Sneijder
  14. seemingly the trialist vs Bath is only for cover because both Cerny and Scully are injured and we need 2 keepers in case something happens to Cullen during the game.
  15. Echo the above. Great gesture, but £250k a year does seem a lot.
  16. If that's the case, how bad must our forwards be?
  17. BBC saying Dundee only bringing 15 players due to their own injuries.
  18. Good man, I can only remember Harkins taking one for us! I wasn't sure how complete records were back to 1975 and that's going back a good bit before my time, just always seems like a reasonable cut off point for these things. Although I wouldn't be doing my job if I didn't point out Scott McLean scored at least these: Forfar (49 mins, 30/9/2000) Berwick (79 mins, 28/10/2000) St Mirren (21 mins, 4/8/2001) Inverness (114 mins, 26/9/2001)
  19. Fleming vs St Mirren was missed wide left in front of the Thistle fans, I remember that one but not the others. A link from the time http://www.stmirren-mad.co.uk/rprt/mtch/st_mirren_2__partick_thistle_1_176538/index.shtml
  20. I don't think Stirling ever missed one for us, and he must have taken 7 or 8. Aero would have been close if not for *that* penalty. Roberts couldn't have been far off double figures but he missed 2 that I can recall and probably a couple that I can't.
  21. Hi TJR, not very relevant to this season, and not at all until Saturday past, but in light of the penalty discussion, who are the most successful PTFC penalty takers since reconstruction in the 70s, both in terms of total scored and best success % (with a minimum of 3 successful kicks) Suspect Mark Roberts or Kenny Watson, and Jered Stirling might be the answers. Cheers
