"The waste of an improved budget last year on an over inflated first team squad that then required to be slashed should be a reminder of how important recruitment is."
You might argue that the budget wasn't wasted since we made the play off semi-final? Did anyone think (realistically) that we would win the league outright?
For those who weren't keen on a certain Mr Lennon taking charge, not a bad start at Dunfermline. Personally I would have been happy if he came to us, as he seems a decent manager, but unlikely now.
Sorry to hear about your family health news but absolutely the correct decision for your family.
I don't get to see Thistle too often and this forum has kept me (well?) informed over the last few years.
Good luck!
I drove up with a mate to Inverness and went along to what was supposed to be an Inverness supporters club - we were the only two people in there! Remember the news on TV saying there was to be a pitch inspection - thought we'd made the journey for nothing! Then a mad dash back down in torrential rain!

Kettlewell resigning today puts a poor light on the Motherwell support, especially if his family were also getting the brunt of the abuse. New manager anyone?
Harping back to a recent match thread, Scott Brown and Ayr were referred to as "thugs" - well I wouldn't mind my team being full of "thugs" if they knock 5 past the league leaders (albeit aided by a red card). Maybe its that bit of steel or the odd rocket they could all do with!!
