I wonder who the Jag is on the ground, and how he got that far behind the bye line. Spot what looks like a Thistle fan with his arms aloft, in a sea of zombies. Jaggernaut
Neil Duffy facing the camera? Second guess would be Tommy Ewing. On second thoughts, Ewing first, Duffy second! If the 8 was a 5 I wouldn't hesitate to say Donnie McKinnon! Ah, the good old days, when the Firhill playing surface was like a bowling green.
a f kincaid
Certainly Neil Duffy. Pure guess I'd say No 8 is Alex Wright.

Has he ever been back at Firhill since he retired (he apparently returned to Scotland)?

Has he ever been back at Firhill since he retired (he apparently returned to Scotland)? Tommy played in the final games of the old Inter City Fairs Cup that Newcastle won in 1969, beating Oldco on their way to the final, IIRC. When he finished playing, he went back to Armadale to run a pub for a decade or so, and then was involved in the haulage business. Sadly he injured his back, and took early retirement. One of the Newcastle players in their cup winning squad was one Allan Foggon. No truth in the rumour that he was the inspiration for a Lindisfarne hit song." "Foggon the Tyne its all mine all mine......"

He must have got a medal, having played in both legs of the final and also in earlier matches. So should we!
