Dundee 4-1 down at HT

Not going to be losing ground to Dundee today at least and if our game is off it hopefully increases our chances of taking something from United on Sunday - didn't do badly at home v. them last year (due a defeat at home the pessimists would say)

Glad the game is off today- it would take a massive effort with limited personnel, better saved for Sunday + it's a shit day for football.

What United do that we don't is get their midfield into the box..It gives options and pulls defenders out of position.

We desperately need to improve that aspect of our game.

With a bit of luck someone might buy GMS off them before Sunday.

They also have better players due to a far greater wage pool which allows them to do this

Accies don't have a far bigger wage bill than us and they get players into the box and get behind teams in a way we don't. We don't play forward fast enough or hit the bye-line often enough. When we do, we score goals. Hopefully we can manage it on Sunday. I think we have a better chance against more attacking opposition, so here's hoping...

Accies have that fantastic youth set up, which has been in place for years which has brought all these great young players through with 20 (yes 20) scouts watching their last game, that will hopefully be where we are in 5 years with the WeirAcademy, they also play on astro-turf at home, which does give a slight advantage, add to that the momentum from coming up in the 1st season and you can see where they are.
