Gingerjag
If he is 23 and under by the end of the season and moved within scottish football, we will have to pay a development fee. Once he is free agent (end of hibs contract) no matter what age you can sign for free. Thats as far as i am aware He is 24 on May 30th so I take it no fee will be involved. ThickAsThieves
Again, a fee is only involved if Hibs offer him a contract. Which they don't seem to be doing.
Gingerjag
aw ok. Regardless of age what is the rules regarding signing someone on a pre-contract if they are on loan at the club? And can another team sign him on pre-contract while on loan with us?

Harry Wragg
Just want to say a big welcome to Callum Booth, I'm sure he'll enjoy his time at Firhill and hopefully be a success with us to the extent that he gets offered a deal to sign permanently.
yoda-jag
One way or the other, we won't see McMillan again. If the investigation goes against him, he'll be out. If it goes for him, he won't want to play for us. Forget him. is that a fact?
Juan Carlos I
What's the news with Ben Richards-Everton - should he not be available for us now as well? Just seen the other thread - never mind Edited January 29, 2015 by Juan Carlos I

read'n'yell
Pleased with both, confident Booth will be good and fit into our system. Finnie I know a lot less about but at 19 he has a good pedigree and will probably have little game time this year anyway. Frans, Seaborne, Finnie, Booth, Balatoni, Keenan, Lyndsey, Ben-Richards Everton - striker/ right winger now please and we're sorted.

Vinnyjag
I would like to see us keeping any money we have this window until Summer. I don't think we are going to be able to get anyone in at this stage who is going to propel us into the top 6. We have the nucleus of a strong side still under contract particularly in central defence. I believe we are safe therefore we should hold off and either utilise the cash to give better contracts to those Archie wants to keep or look at 1 or maybe even 2 marquee signings in the Summer. Dick Dastardly
Scott MacDonald is available and he could make a difference. If we could sign some one of that caliber, Top 6 is still on. I agree that there is no point in bringing in someone unproven or just as a backup.
