Fawlty Towers
Interesting to see that Danny has been asked to take the Scotland U21s on a short term basis. Lets hope he avoids Stark's habit of picking every eligible player from either half of the other Glasgow teams.
Barney Rubble
Well done Danny. After being shafted by St Mirren, and especially considering the job you did for them, I wish you nothing but the best in getting your career back on track. Mr Bunny
Could be a good appointment as I believe he gave youth a chance with the Buddies. Probably seen by the SFA (as I don't trust their judgement) as doing an out of work guy a favour or a "buggins turn" but I reckon they could have made a good appointment by accident. (Though it's not permanent so if he does well (or doesn't pick enough OF boys) he probably won't get the job ,long term). jaggy
best of luck to a true Jags legend and he always seems like a nice guy as well. I would still like to see him manage us at some point in the future. One for the stats guys, is Danny the only Jags captain to win back to back titles? I think he must be

The Sunnylaw Jag
Yeah but he's made up for that with Raith beating Rangers in the Ramsden's final last, the Scottish Cup this year and hopefully a nice treble tonight.

lady-isobel-barnett
Didn't Jimmy Gibson win "worst captain of the decade" and "worst captain ever" titles? I was kinda under the impression that the only reason Jimmy Gibson would be in a starting eleven would be to captain the side. Grant Murray captained us to back to back relegations Incredibly he was a better player the higher the status we played in. If someone repeatedly turns in poorer performances against weaker sides you'd be inclined to think the guy needs the on field guidance of a good captain. Only the Jags would make the clown himself the captain.
