Cheers, we certainly haven't had one vs them since I've been going, would have first seen us vs them in the Geordie Shaw (part 1) game so Kenny Watson makes sense. We've only had one vs Oldco in that timeframe, Donnelly missed it. Fairly certain I'm also right in thinking neither arse cheek have had a player sent off against us in the last 25 years while we must be in double figures- can you confirm what the oracle says? Thistle are 4 competitive games without a goal - the longest such stretch since a run of 5 games from March to April 2010. It's extremely rare for the club to go so long without scoring a goal. The club-record is 6 games, set in February 1921 and equalled in August 1999. In the "all-games" category, Thistle register their 5th consecutive clean sheet away from home; jointly the second best run in the club's history. A clean sheet at Tynecastle on Saturday week would equal the all-time club-record of 6, set by Peter Cormack's Jags in 1983. He's the first player to do that since Kenny Watson in 1987-88. Since his debut in January 2009, Kris has scored once every 186 minutes in competitive action. Willie Sharp, Thistle's all-time highest goalscorer, only netted once every 225 minutes. Now on 77 competitive goals, Kris shoots into the all-time Top 20 goalscorers chart, now sitting at 18th. 6 more and he'll join Dougie Somner, the greatest Thistle striker of the last half-century. Sadly, a red-card will bring to a halt Liam's personal-best run of 4 consecutive first-team appearances. Alan Muir flashes red to Thistle for the second game in a row, having dismissed Kallum Higginbotham at Victoria Park in March. It would seem that we on course to repeat the same in 2015-16. For only the 4th time in the club's history, Thistle have failed to score in 6 of the last 7 competitive games. For the record, the other runs were; 8 out of 9 games (March-April 2010), 6 out of 7 games (July-August 1999) and 6 out of 7 games (March 1921). Suspended Stuart and injured Sean miss their first competitive games of the season. Stuart's run of 23 not-out was 5 short of a new personal best. Last night's defeat was only Thistle's third in seventeen League Cup tussles with Falkirk. Come October 6th, 40 years will have passed since Thistle last advanced to the semi finals of the League Cup. The class of 2015-16 have started the season with no wins in six competitive games, and are now in the all-time Top 10 for the category (see spoiler). Surprisingly, two of the worst offenders were Davie McParland's team, who went 11 in 1973-74 and Willie Thornton's boys, who went 14 (the record) in 1965-66. Thistle haven't scored in 86% of this season's League games - the highest percentage of any team in the 10 main British Leagues. Thistle hit the bottom of a League for the first time since McNamara took us to the bottom of the First Division more than 4 years ago. Failure to score at Victoria Park next week will see Thistle equal the 85 year-old club-record of failing to score in 5 consecutive competitive away games. 4 competitive games since an away goal, 23rd May 2015 to date. 4 competitive games since a goal, 22nd Aug 2015 to date. 4 consecutive competitive defeats, 22nd Aug 2015 to date. 8 games since a home win, 16th May 2015 to date. 8 competitive games since a goal in the away strip, 30th Aug 2014 to date. 9 games since a goal in the away strip, 2nd Aug 2014 to date. 9 League games since the referee's match decisions favoured Thistle. 11 competitive games since a win, 9th May 2015 to date. 15 competitive games without defeat when we score the opening goal. 17 competitive games since a half-time lead. 17 competitive games since a win in the away strip, 29th Dec 2012 to date. 18 consecutive competitive appearances for Callum Booth, 14th Mar 2015 to date. (Longest run since: Stuart Bannigan - 23 games; 24th Jan 2015 to 22nd Aug 2015. Club record: Johnny Jackson - 313 games; 28th Aug 1926 to 25th Mar 1933.) 45 competitive games since a penalty award, 19th Sep 2014 to date. 63 competitive games since a goal from a penalty, 22nd Feb 2014 to date.
