The Incredible Adam Spark
Do you think that Beath fans will like what's been written here about their town and its boozers? I'm sure they've heard it all before. I certainly don't plan an ambush every time I read something suggesting Maryhill's a shitehole or we're a bunch of poofy student tossers. The Legend Blows
Spoke to the old man of a QotS player this week and he said Partners wasn't to bad the other week. I'm headed there via Greggs. Bita class me! Edited August 27, 2010 by The Legend Blows

Only if someone reads it to them, they#ll just be capable of looking at the lovely pictures on here
thomas
who done the song about them? was it Cosgrove? I cant remember the exact words, but it was based on the 'addams family' and was something like "they come from near lochgelly their stinky & their smelly they huvny got a telly the cowden family" IIRC it was on The Fantasy Football League on BBC2 with baddeil and skinner, they had a section that featured supporters songs and i think the raith fans appeared on a show singing that song I think the song originally went... Charlie Endell
Do you think that Beath fans will like what's been written here about their town and its boozers? I would doubt the Fife f****wits can read.

Milo
Maybe he was served a popeseye steak A steak upgrade is what you get when you order mince, but there's so much fat in it that it congeals while it's in the pan, and is served up as one big, solid lump. Yummy!

Fookin' hundreds, but admittedly I was driving through Pollokshields at 2pm.
Big Col
Only TWO erseholes in R*ngers shirts spotted in Cowden today! How many did YOU see? Had one sitting beside us in the stand/tinderbox. Speaking of Rangers erses, did anyone else notice Mr McCall not having the balls to look the fans in the eyes but almost giddy at shaking the hand of Donald Finlay QC? Big Col
And by the way, what a dump! Do SFL officials not inspect grounds these days? Makes Somerset Park look like Old Trafford! And how can a dog be allowed in to football game? And was it included within the official match attendance?
lady-isobel-barnett
And how can a dog be allowed in to football game? Don't really see why not. Just because we can't hang on to a lead.

Jack Osbourne snr
Bunter should've asked the dug for tactical advice. He was going to. The sign "Dugout" foiled him though...
Duck snort
First time I've been to Central Park, What a disgrace. How does a place like that get passed for league football. Has to be the bumpiest pitch I've ever seen, including ours after having a season of the egg chasers on it. To get charged £15 to get into a dump like that is not on. What happened to them having to do £200k of work to get it up to standard, or alternatively ground sharing? That story was kicking about in the summer but seems to have died a death. uberteeb
I thought it was alright to be honest. Rather there than Broadwood, etc.
The Earl of Hathaway
Best thing about Central Park was, well, f*ck all really. But I did like the sign in the slum of an unlit toilet cubicle that read 'We apologise for the inconvenience but due to persistent vandalism the tissue holder has been removed'. Next time bring yer own ya big city t*ssers!
Diego
I misread this thread title and was sorely disappointed to find we weren't planning to be "Exploding Cowdenbeath."
Rid Skwerr
The 'Beath wasn't all bad, though. We bought a family-size steak pie from the butcher's up by the station and it was delicious - packed with meat and a lovely crunchy crust. Best steak pie since the one we bought in Crail.....maybe it's a Fife thing..... The football was still a f'n disgrace, mind
