Auld Jag
If we went down, what would our current board do,would they walk or would they hang on or would Thistle go bust?
Junior
Bust Not even a chance we would survive as we are just about doing at present
its4nothing!
A last minute goal at Peterhead and the eventual penalty shoot out probably saved us from oblivion then, but no doubt the state we are in: dire and in the mire.
nylo
Probably rub their hands tallying up what the whole stadium would be worth after the clubs died.
Lindau
If we went down, what would our current board do,would they walk or would they hang on or would Thistle go bust? The only two worth keeping appear to be Beattie and Allan. Bannerman has been a big disappointment to me. Everybody knows he is a jagsman but just what has he done since he came to the club. He paid the going rate for his shares but appears to have done bugger all since. We need him, Beattie and Allan to do what other club directors do....dip into their pockets! As for Cowan and Hughes, they have outlived their stay by about 6 years. Time for change Edited August 28, 2010 by Lindau
Craig-W
How much is the site really worth these days anyway? There's plenty of landfill about the area already and Tesco don't need another shop in the district.
1 John Lambie
Bust, without a doubt. We're almost bust playing in the 1st Div, relegation would finish us, not even part-time football would save us there.

Time for change I agree with you about time for change, but would the chaos that relegation would cause be enough to move them.If as alot of fans seem to think happens and we went part time next season imo if we dont go down this season we would next season and another point if did go part time where would that leave our current manager would he go part time? Lindau
The club is at crisis point and unless change takes place at boardroom level and quickly the club is doomed. Beattie, Allan and Bannerman need to provide money right now for McCall to get a striker in before Tuesday as Buchanan, Grehan, Donnelly and Doolan will be lucky to get 10 goals this season in total. Failure to do so, will almost certainly mean relegation or play offs
northernsoul
If we went down, what would our current board do,would they walk or would they hang on or would Thistle go bust? they don't care about the Club. If they were to leave, it won't be until Propco is finished. Nice little retirement plan.
uberteeb
That statement is a load of shite, blame me whilst offering a million and one excuses. The reason we are shite is because you are a shite manager. Fin. Do the honourable thing and LEAVE.
sigesige00
If the PTFC went bust, then we should change to Queen's Park and make it abandon its amateur code.

One way of getting to play at Hampden, I suppose. Seriously tho' I see a very slight flaw in your cunning plan.
sigesige00
The PTFC has thousands of supporters. Queen's Park has only hundreds. If we switched to Queen's Park, we would have the right of decision (abandonment of amateur code, etc). Queen's Park will reach to the SPL, and the non-sectarian choice for Glasgow people. We can even change the club name to Glasgow City FC.

crazy davie
If the PTFC went bust, then we should change to Queen's Park and make it abandon its amateur code. And what have poor Queen's Park done to deserve that ?
sigesige00
And what have poor Queen's Park done to deserve that ? Queen's Park is poor, because of its amateur code. If it abandoned the amateur code, it will a serious alternative to the Old Firm. And we can sell Firhill to Glasgow Warriors. That will ease financial problem. If we found a billionaire, we can reach to the SPL in 3 years, like Gretna did.

sigesige00
I wish we were as poor as QP!!! The reason Queen's Park is poor is its amateur code. If it abolished the amateur code, QP has a larger chance. If the PTFC went bust, then we should move to QP and change it to professional Glasgow City FC.
