BowenBoys
Is there a giant list of all Doolz goals? Anyone compiling a video of as many of them as possible? It's possible that such a list may appear in the Stats Watch thread, we can only hope. The Jukebox Rebel is going to write a piece based on the goal scoring history of the Legend that is Kris Doolan. This will be framed and presented to Kris along with the wearethistle trophy. All Doolan 100 members will receive an unframed copy too. I will be speaking to The Framing Workshop in Clarendon Place soon and hope to do a deal for any member who would like theirs framed. There's only one way to get your hands on one of these originals...
Yellow & Redneck
How many of his goals are on tape? Could the club release a100 goal DVD? Or someone talented here? If the club can't do it, I may be able to rustle something up as long as there is enough archive footage available.

JeanieD
Excellent stats and research - anyone any idea of how many penalties are included - not to decry a penalty as less worthy (it is a different, but equally important, skill-set (and involves nerves which frankly would freak me out!) but when comparing some goal-scoring records (Rooney/Charlton for example) is it perhaps useful? The Jukebox Rebel
Thanks JD. Kris hasn't been a big pens benefactor, mainly down to the fact that he plays for Partick Thistle. He's converted 4 (all in 2011) out of 6 pens in competitive action, I've now asterisked them on the list.
north stander
Brilliant work as ever TJR. Can I set you one further challenge? You've got goal number, date, opponent, outcome, result, league or competition level, and which game number in season or round in cup. To round it all off, is it possible for you to add to each one, what the number in KD's appearance list is for each goal?
Ancipital
So from what I can see, he has scored against: Everyone in the Premiership except Aberdeen (an odd anomaly) Everyone in the Championship Livi & Airdrie in League one, with the caveat I think the only other teams he’s played against are QP and Stenny in this year’s league cup. Forfar, Clyde, Stirling, and Cowdenbeath (side note, what a fall they’ve had in the last 3.5 years) in league 2, think only other he played against was Berwick when they beat us 3-1, we did play Annan as well but google suggests he didn’t play that game. So in effect Aberdeen are the only team he’s played more than once but hasn’t scored against. Roll on Pittodrie in February… Edited January 8, 2017 by Ancipital

It's 12 games without a goal vs. the Dons, that does need sorting. Loking forward to him maintaing his 100% strike rate vs the bigots of Govan. The Jukebox Rebel
Right here you go Phil, this one's just for you as a wee special treat for all the brilliant work that you've been doing for the Jags. This one cracks me up Kris Doolan, who finished top of the players competitive games table in 2015-16, is on course to do so again in 2016-17. Despite having the distinct advantage of omnipresence, even the club itself can't catch him! It conjures up an image. On the teams winter training camp, the players go out to a local bar and have a few too many beers. The next day they are hauled before an angry Archie. "No one is bigger than the club", he bellows. Kris pushes to the front with his hand up, "Actually, boss..."

David Stevenson
What was his record when on loan at Clyde? Zero goals in 9 appearances I think. Doolz early years at Firhill were not that stellar. We were playing at a level below our current status and at Clyde Doolz was two levels below. That is one reason I think the fans should cut Azeez some slack. He just turned 23 andnis playing at a higher level than Doolz at that age. If he can gain a bit of composure I believe goals will come. With his strength and pace he gets into great positions.

That is bordering blasphemy. If the stats above are correct, which I dont doubt, 2 goals in 26 appearances, one against stenhousemuir which was hardly a convincing strike, he is fast approaching the land of pogba. If we persist with him id agree that his finishing can only get better. Until such time we need to bring in another 'goal scoring' striker to help doolan. ESPN has it as a OG/ Footage on is debatable but I think it's a OG as does forum regular Camillian (who posted it on youtube), anybody else on the disputed goals panel ??? My goals policy is simple: TRUTH > anything or anyone. It's not always easy to find though! I've got a copy of the PTTV video and I must say it's a very difficult call. I'd say I was 55-45 for Doolan. Like you, I had the Alan Redford o.g. (as per the refs match report in the spoiler), but Tom Hosie persuaded me to change. It's my understanding that, unlike their English counterparts, neither the SFA nor the SPFL have any interest in making "official" declarations in regards to goalscorers, and that each club is free to decide for themselves. I wasn't too impressed that the club website didn't reflect the change and left us in the dark about the decision. I had to stumble into the discovery by questioning a discrepancy in my tallies compared to club declarations. I have my own "dodgy goals panel" for literally hundreds of these instances in our history. This is the entry: "Thistle's second is contentious as the official referee report has it noted as an Alan Redford o.g. The DR/SM reports state the same. Having studied the video in freeze-frame close up, the Partick Thistle dodgy goals panel led by Tom Hosie concluded that Doolan's momentum accounted for the final, decisive touch. The case is closed!" Agree with you on giving respect to friendlies, but a different category description is required. I use the term "All games". Edited to say, I see Camaillan's post is the PTTV one. I was speaking off the cuff before but, looking again, I would actually say I was 80-20 for Doolan.
