BowenBoys
How must Sam English's relatives be feeling after that? With all the poor man had to live through during his life and then to have the memory of his name besmirched and used for some inane "political" purpose. Disgusting! I imagine John Thomson's relatives won't be happy either.
gerrybritton9
How must Sam English's relatives be feeling after that? With all the poor man had to live through during his life and then to have the memory of his name besmirched and used for some inane "political" purpose. Disgusting! If you google it, the rangers have a song about him - disgusting lyrics Maybe some older fans will remember better? From 2009 the highest rangers goal scorer is awarded the Sam English bowl Surprising given that he had to leave soon after as he was so unhappy. The 7 years he played on for were clearly joyless too. I actually half thought about going with my 8 year old son- so glad I didn't. Will anyone lodge a complaint? Will anything happen about this? Alan Murray
Why were a number of people standing yesterday? All that happens is people behind can't see(especially young kids). I am a tall guy and I could not see the goal nearest to us because some people were standing. A wee bit of consideration for other people is needed.
Lenziejag
Who cares? Post split I'd prefer 0 points top 6 to 15 bottom 6 every time. It is a regular occurrence for 7th to get more points than 6th and not uncommon for 8th to achieve that too. We did it ourselves the season before last
Third Lanark
It is a regular occurrence for 7th to get more points than 6th and not uncommon for 8th to achieve that too. We did it ourselves the season before last doesnt matter as it's a fact 6th will get more money than 7th or 8th. While 7th and 8th will not be certain possibly of staying in the premier league whereas we already are and can prepare for next season already plus 7th and 8th won't get 2 home games against the old firm after the split which is good for our clubs bank balance
Mr Bunny
It is a regular occurrence for 7th to get more points than 6th and not uncommon for 8th to achieve that too. We did it ourselves the season before last I don't get why folk make a big deal about this. If you get into the top six you will be playing the top teams in the league, if you're in the bottom six you play the strugglers. About the specific point of Thistle's poor showing against Rangers we apparently have had players playing through injuries to get us top six and now it's achieved it's natural, though disappointing we dropped off a bit in that game. We have two weeks to recover and I expect us to put up much better showings in our next games.
