So... Tuesday...

That link didn't work, but going by the search it's about our planning application. I remember being told a couple of years (probably less) back that building would be starting in January 2011. Is this still the plan? Is there any indication what to expect on the PropCo front in the next wee while? Are we currently just waiting on the planning application?

As far as I'm aware the plan was to go before the 'committee' and I assume this is said meeting where they will either say yes or no.

Please be off! I don't think I could handle freezing my arse off on Tuesday night thank you very much.

Methinks if the game doesn't go ahead on Tuesday night there'll still be freezin' of the arse whenever the game gets played.

If it's not the icy conditions that cause it to get called off it'll be flooding.

Definite thaw in Glasgow overnight and through today. Hell, i even thought the sun had some heat in it!

No real snow forecast for the next few days in Glasgow, so i'd say this had a chance of being on.

It will be baltic, but we've not had footie for a fortnight and i'm staring to miss it.

Think the club needs to seriously think about calling the game off now. They are going to risk spending a fortune on undersoil heating only for it to be called off anyway. In addition its going to be a nightmare for anyone outside Glasgow to get to the game leading to an extremely sparse attendance at best.

I agree entirely. Spectator safety must be a priority.

the European Champions are at Firhill on friday - and it's the SRU's responsibility to maintain the pitch.

Glasgow cannot afford for that game to not go ahead (postponing it isn't an option, we forfeit the points if it isn't played this weekend). The SRU will be dooing everything possible to ensure the pitch is kept playable this week.

If the game is called off (from what I have seen of Glasgow, I suspect it will be when, not if) it will most likely be for the areas around the ground, not for the pitch. Or so I hope atleast...
