A few years ago, I wore the Thistle top we wore in the SPHell, which is similar to this one, in the Barcelona store at the Camp Nou. A guy at the shop took a pic of it (it's the colour and design of the Catalan flag), and swapped me a Barca pen for a Thistle one.

Now I'm not saying that........etc., etc. :innocent2:

Maybe he was just copying Ribery's antics the night before but we wont bother mentioning that as he doesn't play for Chelsea some of you lot make me laugh with your one visioned veiws

I didn't see Tuesday night's game, but Drogba really was a joke last night. The way his back arced any time he was touched was embarrassing. Still, I would love a Chelsea vs Bayern final as I'm absolutely sick of the media crowd w**k over Barcelona and the possibility of a classico CL final.

Trust me mate Ribery was worse and tbh Drogba was immence last night apart from the rolling about which really annoys me as well

Nobody said Ribery's antics weren't bad(didn't see the game so can't comment), but for the size of Drogba the amount of time he spends rolling about the grass is ridiculous. Decent player, but needs to stop the play acting.

Back to the game, I thought it was pretty boring. I'll probably get shot down for saying this, but I'm not a fan of Barcelona's playing style.

Hopefully it will be a Bayern v Chelsea final, although it probably won't happen.

I get fed up with this. Last night Chelsea had 10 men behind the ball ,most of the time and played to hit Barca on the break. Not having a go at Chelsea, when you play a superior team you often have to be defensive. Most teams are v Barca.

But how the hell this makes Barca the boring team I don't know. If other teams would come out against them the games would be more exciting - but more often than not they'd get slaughtered.

I suppose you could criticise Barca for not being able to change their style when they occasionally struggle a bit like last night but considering how much they've won playing that style in the last few years who can really blame them? Besides they'd have won if they'd only been able to take a couple of the chances they created.

Is Chelski's pitch a lot narrower than the one at the Camp Nou? Seemed very crowded and Barca struggled to get width. Barca will stroll it in second leg against the Chelsea Pensioners....

Does anyone else have a dislike of Chelsea due to Bates time at Firhill or am I just bitter :P

Yes it is a lot narrower Bates has nothing to do with Chelsea anymore so you can throw your bitter pill away now lol :hypocrite:

Cheers lads. I actually thought Chelski put on a great performance last night. Great goal and a stoic defensive performance.

Barca seemed vulnerable to the long ball and also some of Chelski's set-pieces.

Drogba was ott with his rolling about but was crucial to their victory.

Torres or Drogba in Barcelona? Or will it be immaterial due to an improved Barca performance? Looking forward to it.

I dislike chelsea for 2 reasons.

1. John Terry

2. A$hley Cole

Add in the fact that their fans have a history of BNP/NF allegiance - so that's 3 reasons i suppose

Chelski have a bad reputation for their casuals and edl/bnp supporting fans. I remember they had a decent bunch of fans in late 80s/ early 90s who tried to get away from this image. They had a fanzine, Chelsea Independent which tried to dissociate from the knuckle-draggers. A lot of English teams have followers of hate politics unfortunately :(

C'mon the Barca :P

This is why I don't like Barcelona's attacking style. Everything goes through the middle anyway, and everything has to involve Messi. It is very one-dimensional, but at the same time incredibly effective. Last night showed how an organised team like Chelsea can stop them scoring by always blocking the passing channels - Barca probably hit more pop shots and long balls than in any game of theirs I've watched for years as a result (I remember one long ball, that's one more than normal). Barca's biggest strength is their defence though, they close men down and force opponents to make poor passes. Saying that, they were very poor at the goal.
